I bought one of these. It lets you use a wired 360 controller, but the lag is noticeable and you can’t do anything about it. I’d recommend avoiding them.

just ordered mine pro. all i want is my ps3 pad to work and im good. but did anyone find out if t.e sticks worked with it?
I’ve been hearing alot of things about this product. The main thing I want to know; will a PS3 pad (just the standard pad) work on an Xbox 360 using this? I’ve been getting alot of contradictory answers and I figured that this would be the best place to ask.
It does work for a PS3 controller via a USB cable
Also, I’ve been using this quite a bit with my PS2 stick and I haven’t noticed any lag at all, it’s quite suprising.
I’m loving this thing. It seemed too good to be true but, it works just great and I haven’t found a downside.
Definitely doesn’t work with Madcatz PS3 sticks though, I’m gonna see if I can try it with one of those PS3 Hori VLXs.
Hm, wonder if this works with the Madcatz Wii stick when using a Classic Controller->USB adapter to work as a PS3 controller.
Okay so I just got the converter, I have various controller lying around,I just need to find them ^^’’
tested with an arcade stick (sony version1 digital controller pcb), works fine.
tested with a neo geo cd ps2 controller (the one that came with KOF94’ rebout), works fine.
didn’t find a way to “guide button” :\ (Edit: select+up, thanks for the info !, I also found out that the “ANALOG SELECT” button on ps1/2 dual shock worked as guide button too^^)
tested with a ps2 Guitar Hero1 guitar not working (at least no with rock band2) (well it’s “missing” a lot of buttons, Dpad etc, guess that’s why, other ps2/3 guitars might work)
tested with a dual shock 3 works fine (had to REBOOT the 360 with adapter and DS3 plugged in after triying the GH1 guitar, for those with ps3 madcatz sticks, did you try to “cold boot” like that ?)
(PS guide button brings the xbox guide menu, select+up stops working (just to clear things up))

tested with a ps2 dual shock works fine (i actually tried an hori DQVIII controller, but it’s an official sony controler so it should be the same as a regular DS2)

tested with a Logitech G25 Racing Wheel not working (usb based, for ps2 and ps3, so Driving force, driving force pro etc wont work either)
I got it. It won’t recognize anything PS3 I have except a standard, stock ps3 pad. From looking at the box, that is all that it advertises as far as PS3->360.
For PS2 it switches MK and LK like previously mentioned which is obnoxious as hell but w/e, it works

I don’t have a camera so I can’t get any images out but it works. I tried it with my 2 custom Joysticks I had that both run regular PS2 Dualshock PCB’s. I also tried out my buddies MadCatz TE for PS3 and it worked as well. If people are having problems then I’m not too sure.
The converter is my cousins and he said he ordered it from Hong Kong and it worked just like they said. That’s all I can really say right now about the converter. I’ve only used it like twice when I go to my cousins house to play games on his 360. He doesn’t have a PS3 which I rather prefer that’s why he bought those converters.
Mixed reports are fun. Someone test this with a VSHG already. 
Well, maybe my unit is defective. It will not work with PS3 TE.
Was the LK and MK buttons switched for PS2 input?
I already said it doesn’t work with madcatz sticks, learn to read.

I think the reason they do this is because japanese games and the like usually use X for back and O for forward but in america we do it the other way around and because this is not an American convertor I makes sense why the switch.
All you have to do is change your MK and LK when you do you button check.

Man, I need to get a camera though but no one I know has one or if they do they aren’t here! My buddies PS3 MadCatz TE stick works fine with the converter. I just plug it in and configure it and it works. I was reading around on some of the converters though. Some of them are made by the same creator and even look the same but some of them work a bit different from others from what I read from reviews. Its weird man.
thing is, there’s like NO guide with the adapter, so it’s critical to give feedback on exactly what you do to make it work. for instance, there’s no point in leaving the adapter plugged alone and then the ps2/3 thing you’re trying to hookup. (I know I’m stating the obvious to most ppl here but still)
