Ps2 madcatz microcon RJ45 pinout Help

So I’ve had success in making a rj45-ps2 cable. I’m trying to make another one. The only problem is the pinouts aren’t the same. Tested with multimeter. I can’t figure the order for this one out. I followed this rj45 diagram. I’ve tried the white and purple wires in the first and last slots but nothing. Any suggestions?

RJ45 Pin PSX Pin
1 GND
2 CLK
3 CMD
4 DAT
5 ATT
7 ACK
8 VCC

Original Pinouts from guide.

Dat, cmd, N/C, gnd, vcc, att, clk, n/c, ack

Madcatz microcon chord pinout

dat, cmd, white wire (9vdc?), N/C, purple (vcc), att, clk, N/C, ack

Your Madcatz microcon does not have the reverse analog switch on the back of the controller right? just checking

Nah just the analog button in front and it was dualshock. The pads gone anyway. Just left with the chord.

oh never mind I’m not thinking right my mind was on the xbox 360 version

Grab a meter and follow along.

The difference is the 3rd pin on my pads connector is the white wire and the 4th is N/C instead of the 4th pin being ground. I’ve already mapped each wire.

Are you trying to say you dont have a wire connector to PSX pin #4? The middle three pins should all have a wire for them in the cable.

Yeah pin 4 is there. No wire to it though.

Use the meter to check for continuity between pin 4 and the metal square on the outside top of the connector.

none of them checked out.

Id recommend getting a new cable.

My thoughts exactly. Anyway thanks.
