Voltech makes GREAT cases. Craftsmanship on the case I received was top notch. What I love the most about it is if I decide to switch to Japanese parts, I don’t need to change anything, the mounting plate he makes work for both American and Japanese sticks (assuming you don’t get the slim design) and the button holes fit both 30mm Japanese buttons or Happ/iL’s. If I decide to get another custom, it would be through Voltech.

What does a finished stick weigh? Looks like the sizes are similar to TE sticks (which I like), but the weight is also a concern (I’d like same or heavier).
My voltech is pretty heavy. =)

The cases alone weigh in between 4 to 6 lbs lbs add buttons PCB and a stick and you got yourself a nice sturdy stick that isn’t going anywhere.
wish I could buy a voltech case, I love those all white cases you make man. and that two tone case is awesome too.

** GXE** “possibly the coolest guy on the planet” has put together a mock up art template for my Voltech Arcade Sticks This will allow you to see what your case will look like with all your custom art, buttons and stick. You can even change the color of the case.

I’ve been working on a new design and before I go and make a bunch of these I need to know if anybody likes it lol
May I introduce to you the VAS-HG or Voltech Acrade Stick - High Grade

it’s just a rough sketch but I think I worked out all the kinks
It comes in 2 styles VAS-HG lite and VAS-HG Elite
It’s made from .09" sheet aluminum with an mdf frame and hardwood or painted trim The weight should be about 5 or 6lbs
I’m currently getting together all the supplies to build a few prototypes
It will come in both Universal (Happ,fanta etc) l and slim (Sanwa, Seimitsu) sizes.
For the metal it will be powder coated clear (Brushed Aluminum) or it can be colored.
The wood trim will be exotics or I can leave it off and just paint the sides for a less expensive case
I might have some blanks for the true DIY’s as well
So if I get enough people telling me that they like it I’ll go ahead and make a batch otherwise I’ll just make one for myself

Looks great. Can’t wait to see a prototype.
I think the elites would look great with the exotic wood (you already know what idea I have!), while the lites seem to lend themselves to the painted sides. Personal opinion, of course…Both designs look bada$$. Are my eyes decieving me with the elite having a slight slope to it? Also, eith the lite, will the aluminum extend beyond the wooden frame, or be flush? I just worry about the sides catching anything.
Either way, sign me up for one when they are available.
