im planning on starting serious project justice play. ive always been a fan and i used to own the imports of the 2 psx games, however despite my friend owning project justice i never got into it. so i play hyo,ran,incyo, nagare, and natsu. which combination makes the best team? also how does justice play go? is it footises,zoning, wakeup games, or a nice blend of everthing. i remember ran always seemed kinda restricted, and hyo used to be the boss and i always got flack for that. ive heard mad things about nagare and i remember racking up wins with him before. any help would be appreciated. i mean i cant spend all my time playing third strike and vampire savior.

Out of all your characters i just play Ran. And yeah, she’s not the greatest character but can deal big damage with just one setup/tardy. The thing you want to look for with her is connecting her df HP launcher because of her great air chain and unblockable follow ups. Watch for moves that can be tardy countered with df HP.

without meter :

  • s.LP x2, HP, df HP, j.[LP x2, HP, HK, f HP, f HK] (56 damage, 10 hits)
  • s.LK, HP, df HP, j.[LP x2, HP, HK, f HP, f HK] (57 damage, 9 hits)

If you start the combo with s.LK you get more damage.
Her unblockable goes like this :

  • s.LK, HP, df HP, j.[LP x2, HP, HK, f HP, f HK], (opponent flips, dash behind), unblockable j.[LP x2, HP, HK, f HP, f HK] (57+48 = 105 damage, 9+6 hits)

with meter :

  • s.LK, HP, df HP, j.[LP x2, HP, HK xx qcf x2 P] (67 damage, 13 hits)
  • s.LK, HP, df HP, j.[LP x2, HP, HK, f HP, f HK], (Gegner flippt, hinter den Gegner dashen), unblockable j.[LP x2, HP, HK xx qcf x2 P] (57+55 = 112 damage, 9+9 = 18 hits)

as you can see, the damage with a super is not that much higher than with her regular chain. You don’t have to waste ANY meter with her, that’s why she’s best played as a battery character first, imo.

without meter :

  • s.LK, s.HP, df HP, (dash a tiny bit forward), df HK, sj.[LK x2, HP, HK xx qcf HP] (58 damage, 9 hits)

with meter :

  • s.LK, s.HP, df HP, (dash a tiny bit forward), df HK, sj.[LK x2, HP, HK xx qcf x2 P] (72 damage, 13 hits)

Her high-launch combos take a bit of practice as they are way harder to connect in a match than her mini launch combos. The potential damage is also smaller (no unblockable setup), but it looks nice since it’s a double launch :karate:

i tried hinata , she’s kinda … good with footsies …

try more on resets …

and i got 1 unique combo for momo …

after momo’s double launcher BnB , link it with ran’s team up fast …
after the scene , quick jump with lk , hp , hk qcf+ppppp…

cool stuff for ran thanks. now when it comes to team supers is better to go for ones that do damage or are the assissts(meter, health) a better choice? hey thedude.com any project justice info you would like to send my way feel free. i know there were a couple a project justice threads around so im gonna check those too. roy is cool, i played him kinda casually so if go ahead and post those unblockables if you got the time. it turns out a bunch of anime of nerds have started bringing project justice to my college, so i have a platform to play on now. i dont think they how to play(i watched them play and im pretty sure i could have taken them down with the bits i remember) but still id rather get refreshed before losing to thoses guys(sorry but im not losing to some guy who dresses up as Link EVERYDAY)

Ah yes,
I remember this game. I have it, but I haven’t played it since like forever. I let my friend borrow my Dreamcast as soon as the PS2 came out cause I went out & bought one. I think I should ask for my Dreamcast back!!!
