I tried uploading a couple of SFEX vids I made on DailyMotion (I think it was this site) because they didnât force vids down to 30 fps.
Actually, Iâm pretty sure it wasnât DailyMotionâŚIâm gonna see if I can find the vids again.
EDIT: It was Vimeo. I checked out my video again, and it doesnât look like itâs 60 fps anymore.
The successful sidesteps were called Ditch nâ Spins, and counters were called Tardy Counters, I believe. Thereâs also the Team-Up counters, but I forget what the game calls those.
DoaGHThaDOJO, HardEdgeOfficial, and kouhatsu are all good for matches.

Do they have the damage turned up in the HardEdge vids? I remember everything doing way less damage in PJ.

You didnât provide a link so I canât see the combo youâre referring to, but she can combo into her diving save, which works like a high launcher. Disregard this if she used her actual high launcher.

i dont think you can do that in the Na dreamcast version

this game is extremely turtle based though and its harder to punish people who up back
you have pick your spots carefully and fight fire with fire
wish you could punish people better when you get behind them when they predictably jump and land with their back to you
The main reason the game is turtley is because it works. Try sitting on down back in the first game vs a top tier. It doesnât work. you will get opened the fuck up. See this game doesnât have universal throws. you have a high throw and a low throw. So you really need to commit. In the first game Rival Schools, you have chars that can combo INTO and OUT of overheads for legit 50/50âs that could take a lot of life if you donât block right. something as simple as a jab string could lead to a scary mix up with hideo into either a sweep or a two hit overhead both of which are hit confirmable into super.
I guess this was a bit TOO much for Capcom so in Project Justice you cant do crazy shit like that. Overheads donât lead to anything and they cant be magic seried into.
My team in PJ is Kyosuke, Roy, and Roberto.
I play top tiers. Suck it. I will say this though, this game PROVES Capcom knows how to balance properly. The difference in tiers was HUGE in Rival Schools. The top tiers can all do half life and have legit scary mix-ups. Mid tiers and below canât even combo into their supers. Its nuts. In PJ top tiers damage was nerfed but they gained new moves and supers. Lower tiers are buffed and basically everyone could combo into super.
Rival schools tier list for the first game IMO
High Top Tier: Kyosuke, Hyo, Hideo
Top Tier: Roy, Sakura
High Tier: Shoma, Roberto, Kyoko
Mid Tier: Daigo, Natsu, Hinata, Batsu, Tiffany, Akira(both versions), Hayato
Low Tier: Boman, Edge
Bottom Tier: Gan, Raizo
I was playing this a lot recently. Kyosuke was fuckin bonkers. Do his fireball at mid screen both hits land and DONT knockdown. Dash in for a full combo that does over half life. you could not play footsies with this guy. you would just die. Hyos sword was twice as long in RS then it was in PJ. Yeah. you did not misread. and Hideo could do three air fireballs and could do three air dive kicks. Run away AND build meter? yes plz. all 3 do over half life with combos into super. Kyosuke can do a little less with just his no meter BnB. His BnB did more then a lot of chars combos into super because he could do light, light ,heavy command normal, command normal, launcher, light, light, shadow kick. smh.
You can cancel her textbook combos into her dive in the NA DC version. It wonât always combo (depends on distance mostly), but you can do it.
This was my team in RS before I knew what tiers were, heh. Hideoâs team-up special did insane damage. I still use this team in PJ.

Project Justice was definitely released around the time Bloody Roar was popular, so many similarities in their OSTs. Canât forget about the greatest opening theme music ever
I wish I could get a chance to play this and CVS2. Iâm so shelteredâŚ
