qcb-p , can counter various combo strings , especially people that always do combo string rush down …
able to chain roy’s team-up , which does a lil’ more damage than daigo’steam-up chain
less but not least , the invinsible-super which is good players to fool people that use throw or some guy that does an unnecessary close combat and attacks on invinsible-hayato that could counter the attack better than guard-&-tardy . and hayato is a perfect empty-rushdown with the invinsible mode , but use it right after a super …

Well, like I said, I’ve been using him since day one. And all of that was pretty much figured out from the start. So I wasn’t sure why people ranked him lower middle tier. I didn’t know if I was just missing something, or people just made quick tiering guesses based on “paper” stats.

Hayato is a monsta’.
He was mad underrated when the game first came out. He’s actually top tier in the classroom stage. Do his air cane swings at the ceiling and watch the retarded damage.
You have no idea how much $$$$ I have taken from so called “Rival School pros” in the early days. :lol: All they needed to hear was that I use Hayato, and they assume easy money. They walk away pissed, calling me cheap, or a combination of the two.

Most chars have to use meter to do that kind of damage. He just needs a Tardy Counter. Hayato is the best battery char in the game next to Roberto.

Now this, I did not know. Are you saying that Daigo as the main character, has a linkable team up with Roy as the partner? Or are you saying that Hayato as the main character, can link a team up with Daigo as a partner. Because I thik I tried linking every team up to Hayatos df+HK when I first got the game. Roy was the only one I remember working.

IIRC, if Roy’s works, then anyone that causes the ‘quick uppercut’ starter animation(Hayato, Kurow) should work just as well. I know for a fact all of those work in the Momo double kick setup, and I’ve done Kurow’s with Daigo…

Roy’s doesn’t do that much more compared to Kurow’s, even when mashed. Besides, Kurow’s looks better. =p
fuck comboing into that shit, just use Momo like me and do a regualar combo tha does about 80%. and i u really like comboing into team/party team ups, she can do it with everyone of those

well the method he play is more of a confusing , he abuse yurika’s c.lp often …
why ? yurika’s c.lp has longer range …and able to reflect opponent’s Projectiles !
and what he do was rush c.lp,c.hp , rush crouch throw …
and that move is unpredictable …

because yurika’s air-lp has the longest range , i failed to air-throw , i got attack by her air-lp while i try to air-throw her …

ProJus has no corner , so , rush down all the way but don’t get rushed downed by your opponent

Isn’t there time for the opponent to recover before he or she hits the ground? I know I would have ample time to recover at sometime during the combo right?
The Roy infinite is actually a loop. You can get a couple reps off, but eventually the opponent is able to tech out. Unless you’ve got a programmable joystick, the timing you need to dash in and connect each lp is pretty strict.
dude: Against Yurika turtles, just run up and throw. Eventually they’ll start trying to poke with lp, crouch, or jump. Seriously, it works. Run up and try to crouch grab a couple of times as well to get him to start moving.
ProJus is like CvS2 in the case that it’s rare that you can safely jump. If anybody jumps in ProJus, you can dash underneath them and launch them from the back since they don’t turn around and track in mid-air. If they empty jump, jumping towards them and throwing stops that.
If he’s out prioritizing you in the air with j.lp, anti-air him. Unless he’s waiting for you to go in the air with him. Depending on the character, you can respond in different ways. Typically characters with air specials (ie: Roberto’s shining save, Kyosuke’s shadow kick, Roy’s air punch, etc) will beat it out.
Yurika = turtlers dream. Good priority and reach with her lps, but if she’s got no meter, correction, if she doesn’t have two meters, she can’t do damage. You just gotta be patient and zone efficiently. Use characters with evasive overheads (Roberto’s b+hk hops of some lows) to get his ass standing.
