Problem with my Hitbox Arcade Stick on PC

Hello everyone!

I’ve recently bought a Hitbox controller for PC/PS3 as I learned to play Street Fighter on PC when I was little.
It works like a charm on PS3, but for some reason the d-pad isn’t recognized on PC. I can easily map all the attack buttons like with any controller, but the d-pad buttons yield nothing.
I tried if I could get them to work with Joy2Key, but even that program doesn’t recognize them. Well, it recognizes a button is pressed, but it doesn’t know which one.
The strangest thing is, Windows Game Conroller setup from the control panel recognizes the d-pad just fine.

Does anyone know what is going on? I’d like to play my SSFIV:AE on PC

The best answer I can give is to post this into the “Hitbox - We so S Tier” thread. It’s their official thread and they answer questions there

.

I know the Official Hitbox PS3/PC version uses a Toodles Cthulhu (PS3 version) for it’s PCB.

I forgot which button is which now, but holding down either select or start as you plug in your hitbox forces either Left analog or d-pad mode for your Directions.
By Default the Cthulhu does both modes on the PC. Try to Force Analog mode then set your configuration up for SSFIV:AE while your Hitbox is set to left analog stick mode.

After you set this up, you should not need to force Left analog again in the future, as your game config will only look for the Left Analog stick signals and ignore the D-pad.

Thank you, I’ll try. It’s not an official Hitbox, it’s made by Shadaloo (www.shadaloo.eu)

In the meantime I found AE in the bargain bin for PS3, so I bought that

Then it not really a Hitbox, like true champagne is made in the champagne region of France.

Now, I can’t say what the solution would be without knowing what PCB Shadaloo installed in your stick.

I can ask them, When I know I’ll be back
