The “detected an older version of comctl32.dll” message keeps popping up, but there isn’t a updated one to replace it on Vista. The emulator can still run, but I’m not able to get into all of the options because of that file I think. I need to enable my gamepad etc.
Anyone have a solution for this or got it running properly on Vista?
I messed around with it a little and noticed, 0.64 didn’t even come with a MAME cfg file so I copy and pasted the one from 0.119 there and the controller was somehow enabled.
I still would really appreciate it if you sent me yours though since it’s made for 0.64. I’m going to be at work this afternoon so I’ll just PM you my email or you can leave a link in my PM box (however you want to send it).
i can run mame…but when i run kof 95 on it…i cant see no characters…the game runs i can play it too…but no characters can be seen…all i can c is pixels instead of the characters
Here’s configuration file from MAME ++0.119. Just download it and put it in the main folder of your MAME32K 0.64. When you start up a game, the controller should already be enabled.
