Problem I foresee in organized Switch SF30/USFFC play

I have a righthand modded PS2 Street Fighter 15th Anniversary stick, plug that into a GameCube adapter, and plug that into a Wii U Game Cube Controller Port adapter being used on the Switch, or for short from now on, “the Smash adapter”. The smash adapter requires 2 usb plugs to be plugged in. What happens if I face someone with a Switch format Fight Stick that’s single USB?

If my opponent either uses a gamecube stick, or a PS2->GC adapter, we’d be good because there’s 4 GC ports on one Smash adapter.

I think I may have a solution. It all depends on if this fact is true of the Samsh adpater: Is one cable a data cable and the other a power cable?

If that is the case, I got a solution. Buy 2 things. 1) Use a USB extension cord and plug it in whichever one of the 2 USB ports is POWER, and then 2) get a USB->AC adapter and plugged the USB extension cord into it. Or as a second backup if there are no free AC power outlets, maybe a AA/AAA battery pack with rechargeable AA or AAA batteries to supply the voltage.

Do they make USB-> AA/AAA power packs?

Thre is a close to black cable and a whiter-than-mid-grey cable? Which one is the power and which one is the data?

Well I googled and got this theory when this was described in Smash Bros. Maybe it will work on Switch Street Fighter.
