Had a BCG account a while back… but then I stopped downloading when I got into college (superfast DC++ hub eliminated the need)
Are the only things we’re able to trade invites? Cuz I can hook someone up with a key for Windows 7 Professional (I got extra copies from being a student and some contests/promotions)…
Blarg, goin’ on a weekend vacation with my wife away from the kid for the first time in over 2 years in a couple weeks… but the place we’re going has no TV, and my supply of legitimate things to watch on my lappy are running low, so I go to demonoid and find they’re down. Anyone care to hook me up w/ a similar place? I just need a few movies for us to be able to watch and with no TV/internet, can’t exactly netflix stream.

Truth be told ratio on Demonoid doesn’t mean shit. From the FAQ on Demonoid way back:
"Demonoid is often overlooked as a no ratio tracker, but it truly is. Heres what we found in the FAQ about low ratios:
Q: My ratio is getting too low, am I going to be banned?
A: The ratio system is purely statistical and somewhat innacurate for the ones with shared or dynamic ips. Besides what other users may think of you for not sharing, there is no punishment for having a low ratio."

I’ve been on Demonoid for over 2 years and my stated ratio in my account hasn’t changed since the day I joined.
So what all-purpose torrent sites are you guys using now? Without Demonoid and Pirate Bay I’m down to isohunt, and it’s pretty hit/miss.
I’ve turned to Mini-nova. Truth be told I never officially searched on TPB ever in my entire time using Bit Torrent.

I’ve gotten about four or so ‘cease and desist’ letters from my ISP, I find immediately calling them up and asking for someone in charge and saying why they’re 'invading my privacy, it’s my bandwidth why should what I download matter?" they ignore it lol. After finally claiming I’ll see if there’s any legal action possible against them they promised I wouldn’t see another notice.
I mainly use either Mini-nova or RevTT, though usually Mini-nova since it’s all free leech basically lol.
I used to have a Blackcats account but lost it when they changed the log-in format.
A friend from work said he would send me an RTT account.
