So I’ve had this autographed copy of Civil War #3 Turner Variant… never took it out of the plastic sleeve & stuff. Anyway, I’m much more of a manga guy than a comic guy, so I thought I might throw it in as a prize sometime for the SRK Caption Contest, if it grows bigger. So yeah, I was just curious how much this might be worth. It seems there were 50 signed, since the cover says 33/50 next to the signature.
the 33 was the number of the book itself. so that signed book is #33 of 50
in every issue of wizard magazine, there is a comic book price guide near the end.
considering michael turner is a popular artist, i’m pretty sure that one is worth a pretty penny.
did it come with a certificate that said its an authentic signiture or did it come with any proof that its authentic because if you dont have one then it might lose some value. if you dont have proof then if you get it graded by cgc then they might consider the signiture as damage to the book.
It has a certificate with it from “Dynamic Forces”.
At face value, it should be no more than 25 bucks methinks. Dunno if that’s gone up in value, though.
