I’m random in life, and ugly at Marvel. But I’m rarely both at the same time. Speaking of which, I got a friend who’d like to get in on the poker game this week, if that’s alright with you Zach. He might be a little ugly in life, and completely random at cards. As far as I’m aware, he’s no card sharp looking to edge into another game.

I play CVS2, though not in a while. I’m one of those rare peeps up here that doesnt play Marvel, I’m imported son.
I’m 1/3 of the way to actually having CvS2 arcade. The GD-ROM disc should be on its way. Now I just need the GD-ROM drive/DIMM board.

Not having a DC is never an excuse for fighting game fanatics. You could always hit up a Gamestop or pawn shop and pick one up for $20. Any number of individuals in the area could hook you up with the games.
Gamestop? You DO realize that they DO NOT carry DC’s around anymore, right? And I’ve checked all the local pawnshop. Trust me, I’ve done my searching. Nobody has a working one 'round here. Otherwise I’d be beasting that custom Sanwa stick right now. :arazz:

I was merely stating above that if one were truly inclined to acquire a DC, it shouldn?t be that hard. While Gamestops might not list DCs online, their local branches still purchase old games and systems randomly. I know of someone who picked a creaky SNES and some carts from the Northgate branch (I think it was sometime last year). I don?t understand why, as he already had the system. Perhaps it was a bundled deal.
I?m saddened by how used music/game stores have been fazed out in this area over the years. There used to be 4 or 5 music stores on the Ave when I was in high school. I remembered picking up Tecmo Superbowl for NES from Second Time Around just two years ago before I left for Texas. Even that place is now half the size it used to be. All of its brethren have closed up shop.
Back to the issue of getting a DC. They?re plentiful on Ebay and Half.com, as well as a few other online retailers. If you?re more inclined to get your hands on one immediately, you?ll have to work the phone a bit to find out which store has one on hand. It really shouldn?t be that difficult to acquire one, unless one is bound by niggardly* constraints.

I kinda asked my valentine out maybe two hours before that post, and right afterwards, someone who hadn’t even met her yet completely fucking put her down. My not-so-dear mother. A mix of joy and rage kinda messes with your perception for a min. But yeah… I don’t have paypal or anything, and the local EBs and Gamestops REFUSE the purchase of anything behind the PS2. It sucks.
