Ticket to Ride was fun, I got all those trips done but still got owned… I guess I should’ve gone for more of the 4-6 length routes.
Poker play of the night was Mandel calling 3 pushes in front of him and taking all of us out in one hand. He must’ve been like <10% to win preflop and even less by the turn, only one of the 2 Jacks left wouldve helped him and it came out. I really can’t blame him, the pot was way to buff.
Last night’s gaming session was dope. All of the joints in my hands felt arthritic. When I woke up today, both shoulders were hella sore. That was some intense gaming. This is the closest I’ll ever get to exercising.
Mandel, don’t let the white man tell you what to do. Tell him: “bitch, I’ll leave when I’m good and ready.” Don’t you live on the eastside? If the skinhead lives in the U-District, I would not be averse to giving him a ride next time, since I have to pass through from Northgate anyway.

I agree about the session. You’ve gotten pretty good. It’s always fun to see new people come in, and watch their progression. Once you start to see resets, and finish off dhcs you’ll be beastly. And man, I really really wanted to stay longer too! Jeez! Next time I will. Good Marvel sessions these days are valuable. I’m sad I didn’t get to play Jason.

Are people wedded to the idea of having a poker night every other Friday? If Zach’s out of town on the 16th and people need their poker fix (like I need my snort of MvC2), folks are welcomed to use my house. I live near Northgate Mall, only have one TV, got 2 dining tables, and 2 homemade sticks (if you’re partial to your own stick then I would urge you to bring them as mine are sometimes suspect). I do have MvC 1 & 2 for DC, and 3S/Anniversary for PS2. There’s also a church less than 1/2 block from my house, so parking on a Friday night will not be a problem. I’ve also never had noise complaints in this area before.
My abode is most humble, and I can’t possibly live up to Zach’s top tier hospitality. But if the main man’s gonna be out of town in a week and a half, people are welcomed to use my home as substitute.
This is, of course, still contingent on Zach being absent. Post if you’d actually show, so that others will know what type of outcome to expect.
Also, Kyle, please let me know if you’ve diagnosed the problem with my stick. There’s no rush, but I’d just like to know if it’s salvageable. If not, meh. . . .

Whaddya mean, what’s good? I got my last one for fifteen even with a VMU and second controller, so I’m a little spoiled ^_^. Really, however little you’d give it up for is what I’m looking at. It’s cool Zero I hope things begin to start lookin up for you. The past few days have been pretty hard for me as well thanks to some bad news. I think I might join you on the “I’m done goin to GW” thing. I have no one to play 3S with so I just go and get mobbed on. Plus the line is hella big, in addition to the fact that I don’t like the marvel cabinet there. We’ll see though. I hope you can make it out to the next Zach event. They’re fun! :looney:
