Cats are awesome. I like an animal that can take care of itself just fine.
The only boring cats are the ones raised by boring people. If your idea of fun is ridiculous overactive starved-for-attention jumping around excited animal, then that’s cool (see I can make generalizations too lol). I could see how cats are considered boring in comparison, though. I’d prefer to sit back and pet something that vibrates and makes a cool noise. They’re really kinda different strokes for different folks. I think it’s a shame how quick dog lovers are to dismiss cats as being cool, though. I’m a cat person who’s had a traumatic dog experience and will be forever afraid of them, and I still give dogs a chance.

When you come home to a dog their mindset is
“Omg omg omg omgwtfbbqitsbacon!!! Pet me pet me pet me play with me I have to piss/shit but it don’t matter cause I haven’t seen you in years!!!”
There’s days I don’t want to deal with that shit.
You come home to a cat and they are like
“Oh wtf are you doing in my house again? Well that’s cool, you feed me and when I get sleep your warm lap makes a great bed. I guess I’ll let it slide.”
That mentality is tight.
Of course if you train em they do tight shit. I’d come home and my cat would hop on the entertainment center and would wait for me to walk up and it would rub it’s face against my chin. Then he’d walk onto my shoulder and be posted like a bird. Now THAT shit was tight, till he tried to go to the other shoulder and would put his asshole close to my face…THAT wasn’t tight.
I like actually being able to do things with my pets. I’ve had most kinds of pets. Taking a dog for a walk or playing frisbee is fun. What the fuck do you do with a cat? Skin it? Have it chase the laser pointer? Zzzz.
Teach your cat to go on walks and then it’s cool. :tup:
Wrestling your big ass dog is some of the most fun you can have, and they never get mad at you for it either!
My cat is so random. His idea of playing is ripping my limbs to shreds, which i don’t mind too much because it’s easy to get out of and as long as I don’t wait too long it won’t hurt. When I come home from school and am the first one home he’ll come running to me wanting nothing more than a hug, so i lift him up to my shoulder and he starts to loudly purr in my ear. So much easier to deal with than a dog and much more adorable.
Oh man, putting a cat in a harness and taking it on a walk is so hilarious. I can see how it’s more fun to take dogs to go do something. The thing that bothers me is when you’re not in the mood for all the effort a dog takes, they don’t care. They’re always in the mood. ALL UP IN YO GRILL. They both have their merits.

Probably if you come earlyish there will be leftover cake (including turkey cake) + cupcakes + crudite.
I may bring the SD TV up to the “main” room for MvC2, and then move the LCD downstairs. We’ll see.
