A random guy with ‘SRK’ at the end of his nickname used Team Preppy online the other day. I was scared it was Zach, thought I was gonna get creamed.

November 1st is not a Friday! This means I could probably attend. Would that be alright? I have been in attendance a few times before (three?), but there were a lot of people, and I don’t know if you’d remember me. I think we are ‘facebook friends’ (name is Grant Laughlin), so you could find a picture of me there if you wanted to refresh your memory.

I find it really oddly depressing when other people play that team. Happily, I have some “secret” tricks I don’t tend to share that usually destroy other people playing Megaman/Cable/Tron. The only guy picking that team that I’m afraid of is Ranma, and I can usually get him to drunk to play well. :lol:

Tekken 6 Tournament info!!!

Here is the lowdown from motown Tacoma!

I will be running 2 tournaments Sunday 11/01 @ Zachs

Doors open @ 5:00 PM and we plan on having at least 3 setups of Tekken going at the same time. One PS3 and two Xbox setups if I am correct. Anyone who has an extra system please let me know, we might need an extra!!!

Everyone is expected to bring their own controller/pad just so I don’t hear “oh my move didn’t come out”, I don’t want to hear that shit at all tomorrow so this is a fair warning!

The first touranment will start @ 8 PM the second will start @11 PM !!! Signups start at 7 PM and 10 PM. Casuals and training/help with the game start when you arrive of course @ 5:00******** PM!!!

FIRST PLACE IS A COPY OF TEKKEN 6, yes both tournaments will have a copy of the game! The copy of Tekken is a Xbox360 version, if for some reason you would like a PS3 version I can give you the gift receipt and you can take it to your local Best Buy and exchange it, of course they will not take your copy if you fucking open it, so keep that shit wrapped tight!!!

ALSO: THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! I AM THROWING THESE TOURNAMENTS TO GIVE THE NEW KIDS AND THE LESS EXPERIENCED TOURNAMENT PLAYERS A CHANCE TO EXCELL IN THE TEKKEN GENRE. I KNOW THAT A LOT OF US HAVE ALREADY PICKED UP A COPY OF TEKKEN 6 FOR OUR XBOX OR PS3. IF YOU ARE THE FIRST PLACE WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT(S) AND YOU HAVE A COPY OF TEKKEN 6 YOURSELF, THEN I EXPECT YOU TO A.) GIVE THE COPY AWAY TO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE IT OR, B.) SELL YOUR COPY TO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE IT FOR A GOOD PRICE.

It makes little to no sense for me to go out of my way to buy copies of Tekken 6 just so someone who already has the fucking game can have another copy, make sense?

This tournament is FREE of charge but there is a suggested donation of UP TO $5, this can be $5 or as little as .25 cents, I only fucks with a quarter dog, ya feel meeh? This suggested monetary fee is for my fucking gas fund, and the game fund. Ya know I’m coming out of my pocket for the damn game right? Just the same, if you do not want to pay anything, or do not have any money then you do not have to pay!!!

The tournaments will be ran like most tournaments are in the Tekken scene:

-3/5 rounds
-2 out of 3 Matches
-Semifinals will be 3 out of 5 matches
-Finals will be 4 out of 7 matches
-The time will be 60 or 80 seconds, I will have to check again to make sure, but Tekken is NOT played with infinite time. So sorry!
-The Tekken champ will then be asked to sock Rob in the balls, lolz OMG!
-Double elimination
-If you hit pause then it is up to the players to decide if the round should go to the opponent who did not hit start. If it was me I would take the fucking round no questions asked.
-No buillshit, cheating, biting, scratching while playing in the tournament
-Shit talking is not needed but is expected if you are winning or losing.
-Usually, coaching in tournaments is not allowed but for this kind of tournament I will allow it. Tekken is hard to learn so I will grant the individuals the option of being told what to do in the middle of a match. THROW HIS BITCH ASS!
