Haven’t played Marvel in over a month. I’m suffering withdrawl. Got them crack shivers.
I’m in Miami til the New Year so I probably won’t make to the next couple get-togethers. I know, I know… youre all heartbroken.
I’d like to report that if you download the latest Madden 07 roster update, the Seahawks are quite well nerfed. I will give someone a dollar if the Seahawks could have their entire offensive unit healthy for one, count it, one game.
Also, I have a free copy of Rounders that I will be giving away tomorrow since I got the Special Edition for my birthday. :tup:
Due to the fact that I have to wake up at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning, and I’m down in Sumner, I don’t think I’m gonna make it out tonight
When do people plan on showing up? I plan on attending, but do not with to appear late like a diva nor inposition our host by arriving too early.
I’m pissed that game saves in Madden are some fucking secret glitch. Why can’t there just be some global “Save Everything Now Goddammit” mode? I’ve lost a bunch of stuff (including my budding Superstar CB, Pig Bot) simply because I couldn’t easily figure out where I cleanly needed to save.
I think the key is to perhaps go to Play Now mode, which seems to remind the jerkoff computer that some people might value their efforts. =P
If people want to show up by more torwards 8PM, we can either play a pre-tourney poker tourney, play Madden, Halo, Marvel, whatever. People randomly seem to show up starting about 9:30 or so.
EDIT: Or Gears of War, of course.
JMar said he was interested in an early tournament if other people were going to show up too. So that’s two so far.
EDIT: And Rat says he’ll be here at about 9PM.
EDIT2: I don’t know if it’s possible, but if anyone has a Save for Halo that they can bring so I can unlock it fully(?) for my xbox 360, I will love you. <3

- Rattana 42, Mandel 38 in the Madden Holiday Special.
- Cody “what the focker” Cheaterliciouz wins the Super Scrabble Scrabble game over Frank, Slim Jim, and Chris. Cody plays by some weird Quinto rules in Scrabble, so watch that guy, he’s a liar.
- Nolan over Zach over Ian over JMar in poker (12 people, I think). Everybody was playing really loose.
- Rat and Row’s Marvel matches seemed to be a wash.
Not sure about the other events. About 14 people(?) showed up this time, so kind of a light crowd relatively. I tweaked the house setup a little bit… drink holders and carpet in the garage, x360 downstairs (media room), TDC/dreamcast in the living room next to poker… seemed to work out pretty well. I don’t think anybody used the drink holders I just installed though.
