I don’t think Zach minds, I for one welcome more money in the prize pool. Buy-in is $10.
I’d also like to propose a new structure for the tournament to prevent it from turning into a crapshoot after we combine. Keeping the rounds at 15 mins is ok but I think we should do a more conventional (slower) blind structure, meaning less doubling of the blinds in the earlier rounds. The fact that we have to cap the blinds everytime at 1600/3200 should say something (or maybe starting stack should be bigger?). For example:

Chip up
200/400
…
We can start doubling after chip up or keep it slow, up to Zach the tournament director.

i’ll second that chris… maybe combining that with shorter rounds, say 12 minutes, will still keep the tournament length reasonable. it seems like a better structure overall, imo.

Sounds good. If we increment the small blind by 100 after chip-up until we reach 500, we can then do a second chip up to 500 and 1000 chips and then increment by 500 and 1000 thereafter. This should alleviate making change for the blinds at the later stages of the tournament as well since there will only be two values/colors in play.

As regards tourney: I have no idea what people want here when, so we’ll just go by Cody’s rules. Team tourney or regular tourney, either way. It was Cody’s idea. 
FWIW, I actually came home early so JMar could kick my ass before his operation, so if peeps want to show up early I’m home. shrug
