Well to you the truth, when you first go to play it you think you’ll know how the game feels, but you’ll be wrong.
Master Chibi can correct me if I’m wrong.
Once you play it, it’ll like something familiar but not what you expected.
I don’t really know how to explain it and better.
It depends on what you’ve played before but when you do get to sit down and play it just feels familiar and yet so wildly exciting at the same time. It’s just the comfort level that just hits you as soon as you start playing that eases you in and all the crazy stuff before you that has your head spinning in anticipation of what could be next.
It’s a feeling I haven’t gotten from anything in the past 8 years lol
The big question on my mind right now is “would the game be broken as tits (in a awesome way) without IPS?”
The real question is shoe? …Potato pie?
I think Mike can answer this question rather easily… =]

I think the beginning of this video speaks for itself. Notice how INCREDIBLY EASY some of these infinites are to perform.
The combo system is actually probably even more open than xmen for 2 reasons:
-No fly screen, i.e. after an air combo ender you can still super jump or do supers normally, which xmvsf limits after triggering fly screen
-juggled characters can be stood back up on the ground mid-combo
Without IPS most or all characters would probably have a ton of infinites just by virtue of the fact that you can launch someone, combo them back to the ground, and launch them again. But these combos usually involve most or all of your air normals so IPS stops you from doing a ton of loops.
E: though it’s worth noting that supers do CRAZY damage in xmvsf even at the end of a combo but in skullgirls they’re more reasonable.
You can make your own assists?!
drools
You seriously did not know about that ? It is supposed to be one of the game’s defining features.
Think this game be pad freindly? I haven;t had much sucess with 6 button fighters, Inly one I got comfortable with were SFA2, Samurai shodown and bit of Dark stalkers2, But those game pace were slow and tamed. This game looks to be vice verse. yet at the same time I’m excited to try it.
IIRC They worked with Fanatiq to make sure that the game would be okay for pad players.
you kidding? MvC2 is one of the best fighting games ever and it still is on the PSN and Xbox Live versions, so yes it’s worth it.
He was asking because 4r5 suggested getting a dreamcast lol.
MvC2 felt like they just threw some shit together. I would rather much have MvC1 over it any day.
They did just throw shit together, it’s just a fluke that it turned out so well.
Thuse munkies sure got lucki on those typwritrs…
Yeah this game to me is like what would happen if they let MVC2 actually brew on the pot for a while and fine tuned it first. The game has enough of its own unique elements to not just be a revisioning of MVC2 though.
Just eat a lot of sugar!!!
No more prep, the game is almost out. Thread closed.
