I was making the implication that there was a character named “Justin Wong” in MvC. Obviously didn’t translate well. 
Did Tokido drop Akuma? I don’t know why people are picking him for second considering that Yun rapes Akuma… you guys should watch the Momochi Vs Tokido footage…

This exactly… 20-30 japanese vs 2000 others. MvC3 top 8 guesses so far are popularity contests in this thread… the fuck clockwork? Combofiend? Right… I feel like fchamp,wong,tinh,chris g,tokido,floe, xray, nerdjosh,haikuwar and detrimantix all have a good chance in placing top 8 but maybe half of them will. Mvc is a very inconsistant game at this point.

Well, looking back at my predications I didn’t get any prediction spot on, but I had 4/8 in AE and 5/8 in marvel. Also I think some of my commentary was spot on.
“Wolfkrone: Underrated. I rate him as the best American player at the moment. I think he deserves that accolade at this point, and I hope he proves me right at Evo.”
He proved me right. Highest finishing American player. Tied for 7th with Flashmetroid.

I was very surprised to see Daigo and especially Tokido get eliminated in Marvel so early. Got that horribly wrong. And I’m not sure, but did Ricky O even make it out of pools in AE?
Good call on Wolfkrone but Latif from Arizona definitely got 2nd.
Nobody else on this thread predicted Flashmetroid either. That switch to Zangief in AE definitely worked out in his favor. Also pretty scary that he’s still got it with Viper in case of bad matchups. I really wanted to see some Americans go at it though so we could all see who’s the best Viper.
Also while watching grand finals for MvC3, when Viscant had X-factor dark phoenix out against PR Balrog’s lone Tron I called out “This Tron is what champions are made of” and he FUCKING DID IT. The roof at the Rio and every person’s house watching the stream was definitely exploding at that point!
this should prove how difficult it is to predict results in a big tournament like this. i mean i knew daigo wasn’t going to make top 8 in marvel, but i was pretty surprised tokido didn’t either.
mago not making top 8 in AE was a shocker to me as well
