PRE-COOPERATION CUP and COOPERATION CUP 2016. Tokyo, Japan. January 9-10

Any brackets for the tourney? I haven’t had a chance to watch it and was wondering how all the American teams did

At first all I could think was “I really hope Raoh’s team doesn’t win”. Then when I heard KO Family took it I was just ds;fafdhgds;adhh

Congratulations to him. He really deserved it.

Had to leave the house right before finals, so I ended up recording it. Decided to trim it up and upload it.

  • Deshiken destroyed KokuNuki team then stopped by Masa (Q) next round and Nuki won the rematch eliminated his team.
  • Koupun (Ibuki) and RB (Urien) represented Fukuoka players reset the final playoff round robin not just once but twice.
  • The mysterious reason why KokuNuki picked Genki instead Boss for the 2nd playoff reset.
  • RX closed out the playoff round after 2 resets brought KO Family to top 8.
  • Roshihikari lost to Masa by Timeout getting hit while only 1 second left.
  • Kashi vs Vanao match, definition of jungle.
  • Yuuki beasting against Raoh & Mester.
  • Haitani defeated MOV and perfected INO in last round of anchors’ battle.
  • RX stopped the bleeding named Terubou in semi finals and almost OCVed Nagoya team.
  • KO’s legendary OCV grand finals. Making him and Yakkun won both Pre and Cooperation Cup.

I can’t think of a better Coop Cup than this year.

Yeah it was great. Yuuki and Haitani played so sick in the semi finals! Haitani vs MOV and Ino was awesome. I really thought their team was going to take it but congratulations to KO family. Also gotta love any time a Vanao team makes it deep.

My favorite match was the one where I defeated a Q player with only the roundhouse button on stream

KO playing out of his mind.
Yuuki was beastinnggggggggg.

Koupun was awesome. His Ibuki was really cool to see.

You did good, Lance. A lot of foreigners did well this time around, if you ask me.

Congratulations to Yuuki for 2nd, you were closest to taking out KO.

The Masa vs Roshihikari ending was insane, not even a second, just a few frames. That’s in line with the legendary umehara ST sbo1 comeback.
Masa and Koupun were the unexpected highlights.
Nice games on stream by Ryan and Lance too

Double

Edit: I wonder why Rikimaru didn’t play this year.

I hope The whole Footage is uploaded on youtube cause i fell asleep at 4am lol

All of the pre-cooperation cup is uploaded, and I think some of the cooperation, plus you can just look at past broadcasts from the Twitch stream to see it all.

also the footage that they kept playing during breaks was that the previous cooperation cup? cause that footage looked really hype

Where is it uploaded?

If you’re always looking for a team saver, always look for RX. Consistently been the guy who takes out everyone.

Boss on past the salt. From what I saw, he didn’t contribute anything but losses in pre and cooperation cup. Maybe that’s why they chose Genki in the playoffs against RX.

And RB and the Ibuki saved KO Family. I completely forgot. They were huge contributors as well.

Actually K came closest to taking out KO. Thought KO wouldn’t make it past first game.

Pre-cooperation on this guys Youtube:

Thought the same thing, but after that correct parry on K’s overhead, I suddenly and instinctively felt that he could take them all. He was visibly anxious at first, his face bloated and his mannerisms awkward. After that read and the win that followed, the atmosphere around him changed somehow. And he did it. It was awesome and I’m really happy for him.

My favorite co-op and winning team is still the 11th (2013) though.

3rd Strike is the greatest game, the greatest community, and Coop is the greatest tournament. Let’s all go back next year, and everyone who couldn’t go this year must go next year also. I will level up and show the Yun Gods what the big leagues really look like.
