Yeah, cr.mp is a nice option for various situations.
Recorded some casuals with my friend’s Rufus. The whole time we’re going back and forth, so expect some close matches!
As usual, constructive criticism always welcome! :karate:

All I gotta say is…Rufus with meter = dead Sakura. :<
Because I really can’t think when I’m in a match. I’m seriously considering giving the whole thing up but I really want to play SSF4 so I’m on the fence.
You’re like me then, just need to try to calm yourself down and things will come to you more clearly.
As to giving it up, just need to ask yourself if you’re having fun or not. If not then try to make it fun otherwise it might be an idea to give it a break for a while.
I did give it a break. I was on MW2 for a month.
I was having fun when I first got the game and I didn’t know what anti air meant. Since people decided to convince me to be the best I can be its become nothing but frustration.
Yeah man, Street Fighter is a game of out thinking your opponent and forcing yourself to be patient and think quickly at the same time. It takes hours of execution practice + hours of experience practice + hours of match and game knowledge weekly to be the best you can be. It can be stressful when not played casually.
But you don’t have to be the best you can be, its just a game that most of the world doesn’t care about, and they live life just fine… just do your best whenever you do feel like playing and you will progress at your own pace. You’ll always be behind the people who commit more than you do, but thats not a bad thing. Everybody has their own choice.
I made a choice recently that I will continue to play this game, but I understand I don’t have the want, time, or in some cases talent to be as good as some other people. That used to bother me, but now I’m fine with it.
Gief’s grab is a 0 frame grab. If you’re not in the air when he inputs the command (doesn’t specifically have to be a jump, can be shunpu or shoou), then you’re grabbed.
… I mean, I change my titles all the time, and lately I’ve been sitting on Rose Titles (Sexy and Tease) and Viper titles (Businesswoman and Miss Perfect)
You were at that tournament (forgot the name) then this past weekend, right? Yeah, I caught that match on the IPW stream. Rough outing :/. Eric Choi is so beast.
That’s a mix and match though, when someone has both titles of the same character it usually means they play that character. Also his Zangief was kinda crappy, bit of a one-trick pony
Thanks man. That does make alot of sense. I think I kinda gave myself a deadline to become GDLK by the time SSF4 is released lol. Thats why I keep getting pissed off that I don’t understand anything.
Sorry to moan and complain to all you guys so much. Thanks for all the input too.
That’s ShadyK a very skilled Akuma player. He must have her as a console secondary. His use of standing jab in block strings is something to really take note of.
yeah until they reversal u. its good dont get me wrong but u gotta choose your battle with it. other wise you gonna eat srk fadc to ultra. if your opponent can’t safely fadc out of it i would use it to apply some pressure. its a great tool and if im not mistaken we have the second fastest jab in the game after balrog. he just has one less recovery frame on his
s. lp seems to be good in a mixup. Keeps that pressure on. Won’t be able to use that against my Ken enemies but just gave me somethin else to put in the ol arsenal
What type of recorder are you using for the vids? I can may be of help to get better the quality for the videos. Also, what editing program are you using?
I can’t record in HD because my iMac is 4 years old. Its a 10.4 Tiger OSX PowerPC G5. I can’t upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard unless I have a new Mac with Intel Core Duo processor.
After exporting the video I open it in either Final Cut Pro or Logic Studio 8 to add the music.
I just got the recording device yesterday. Here is the one I wanted to get:
I got Easycap, which cost a bit less than 10. Got a special scart plug connected to it since my TV allows me to output what’s being viewed via scart but has to be in SD I have a little problem with sound, the right channel is “screwed” so I just take the left channel to stop it making popping noises…
I would use Final Cut if I had a Mac, but for now Sony Vegas 8 for my PC. I’m using a Pinnacle Dazzle Capture Card since from a lot of videos I’ve seen, almost everyone uses this since it gets good quality videos.
It looks like this : http://images.tigerdirect.com/skuimages/large/Pinnacle-Video-Capture-2.jpg
@Mr. Flowers:
That looks usable, but even though it looks compact, the capture card seems like it will reduce quality of your video to some degree. Also, because you computer is a bit outdated, will also reduce the quality of the video to some degree. The videos themselves look fine, besides the parts where they fast forward a bit (probably because of the old computer).
As for Macs, people generally use Final Cut. Final Cut is the most prestigious of video editors since even Hollywood uses Final Cut to edit their movies and videos because it is simple to use and it usually puts out the best quality videos.
