Nice use of low forward, Obey. I always try to get the final hit confirm with low fierce but I’m usually out of range so that’s somethin I’m gonna start to use more.
help needed vs ryu

Just had some vids uploaded on youtube…
i am having alot of trouble with a local Ryu here…
i can only beat him 2 out of 10 times…
can anyone give me some pointers…
i have been trying destin’s bnb combo with the fadc from srk, but havent had a chance to use it in a real fight… always seem to dash for too long… and miss the link.
his zoning is very good.

You both seemed to throw out unsafe moves when you panicked, try and cut that down a bit.
Tighten up your punishment, c.MK xx Heavy Shou you want to be able to throw that out when you want.

I was a casual Sakura player before, but zack_austin’s videos (We should play more, bro! Haha) made me wanna get serious with her XD.
As with everyone, I’m still in the process of getting to know her. Just had a quick look at the first one, couple things I picked up:

c.LK > c.LP , c.HK - now I’m 99% positive that if the c.LP hits then a c.MK will always be in range, so you should be doing the c.MK xx Shou on the end of that link combo instead of breaking it with a sweep attempt.

j.HK > c.LP , throw - you landed that j.HK, the whole point of hit confirming link combos is to hit confirm
You could have set yourself up for some bigger damage and shenanigans.
Otherwise looks pretty good, odd botched up link attempt but that’s only natural.
Why do the turbo users always seem to be playing Dictator? Must be something about how his combos work or something … :rolleyes:

Stop throwing out random specials, especially Shououkens. I’d try to work on her basic link combos too.
Against Zangief it’s not really enough to go on. You seem to c.HK too much though but since it’s against Zangief it might not be that bad of an idea. Think you need to use s.HK more as well.

Missed Ultra opportunity in the second video, I’m guessing you messed up the input 
I saw too many whiffed SRKs in your Akuma vid. Yes, it works against air fireballs, but it doesn’t mean that’s your only option. Dashing under or FADC’ing his fireballs can be even more rewarding as it can setup a combo if you’re close enough and pressures Akuma into the corner. That one time where you went under and punished him, you opted for the sweep instead. (another move you abused a lot)
You should also analyze your opponent more during the game. Learn what he likes to do and take it away. Ex: That Akuma loved to teleport after he’s knocked down…hmmmmm.
Last of all, take some time in training or trial mode and learn about Sakura’s combos. There isn’t really much to know to be a decent Sak (c.MK xx SRK and your EX tatsu combo of choice) and it will help you win games faster.

EDIT: I was referring to the third vid you posted. I didn’t know all three were Akuma vids. <.< Though the stuff I wrote still stands.

notice how he uses c.lk, c.lp, s.lp, c.mk xx shouken instead of the regular BnB c.lk, c.lp, c.hp xx EX tatsu because the ex tatsu will whiff on akuma
Doesn’t whiff all the time.
You’re right, it WON’T whiff if you take out one of the inputs, but yeah, 99% of the time the standard BnB combo will whiff. (unless you’re SUPER close to Akuma, I guess? Don’t know, I usually just go straight into Shouken after connecting cr.HP)
