It links on counter hit
Well, that’s not true. Any combo ending in an untechable knockdown is useful.
I have seen this type of combo before but they don’t work on all characters. For example, against Honda you can do cr.LK > cr.LP > s.LP > s.LP and be able to link s.MP or sweep. I don’t know if that combo is exactly right, but it’s something to that effect. It has something to do with the last jab hitting on the second active frame, giving Chun technically more frame advantage, putting her at +7 when the last jab connects. You could connect Ultra if you wanted to, but sweep seems less risky.
I suppose if someone went through and learned the Ryu-style sweep combo against EVERY character (because I’m sure they’re similar for groups of characters), it would be pretty deadly, but otherwise it’s only marginally useful.
the problem here is that its very complicated to get that +7… so far it works on rog, rufus and sagat(kind of, it works once and i cant do it again), on small characters(and dictator for some reason) it wont connect (so its character especific after all like snakeaes just said)… the cr.lk X3, st.jab, cr.hk work on rufus, but on sagat u have to do cr.lk X2, st.jabX2~3, cr.hk… but then again, its very tricky and sometimes even if ur spacing/timing its perfect it wont connect, actually u cant use the dummy to playback the setup cuz it just doesnt combo
I’m going to hit training mode tonight to see if I can find setups for second-active-frame sweep combos with Chun.

yesterday i was messing with this (again) against gief, u can do cr.lkX2, st.jabX2 and the cr.RH combos 80%-90% of the time… i was happy as hell xD
Today I realized that cl.mp x legs is good.
If you go for 2 hits then cancel into legs, it will work on certain characters that cl.hk x legs doesn’t work on, like Akuma.
If you go for 1 hit cancel into legs (difficult), you can loop c.hp x legs, c.hk from it on any character that can get looped by c.hp x legs!
