I’m still having a hard time making contour linework with my tablet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I might scan my linework and color w/ tablet from now on.

Just forget lines altogether!.
If you’re going to do realistic portraits like that, its best to forget the lines. You can do a line sketch, then paint it over. The sketch can be as loose or as tight as you want.
That Jin looks rad. I’m diggin his new hairstyle. The blue haired guy looks cool too. I really like drawing profile shots. My comics are infested with them.

wow i really like ur stuff… inspiring me to do some work myself. ive been usin photoshop for about a year now… but i havent really drawn anything (besides one old pic) but i mostly just made pics out of existing pics… or just out of special effects
DF- I tried that with the Kori drawing awhile back but everything turned out all lopsided. You got any tips? Like painting over lines lightly or something?

Yeah thats what I’m talkng about. I love the latest pic you did. Good amount of darks aturation in color and highlight. Do more stuff like that. Other drawings are great too.

SFMC- Damn, man! Thanks! You helped my art game big-time dood. Especially w/ the colored BG thing (although it’s not on this pic, by accident of course)! By mistake I saved my lines as a jpeg instead of a psd file, to take to painter essentials, and now I realize I can’t multiply my layer and put a BG on it without screwing up the lines… blows.
Nas- Yeah, I feel ya man. He about doing some mspaint and photoshop drawings on mouse like I did. That always works, but your wrist’ll kill ya afterward.
