Power Stone thread!?!?

I’d like to see a HD Remix of Power Stone. I loved the levels of powerstone 2 but I felt that it was less unarmed combat and more about who had the most power weapon. PS2 would have to be rebalanced and I’d like to see the PS1 stages thrown in :bgrin:

i friggin loved power stone back when i had my dreamcast all i played was that and mvc1 my friend would always play with that guy who looked like a super saiyan and kick my ass, ahhh nostalgia…

Why is everyone talking as if the aerial homing kicks in PS1 were broken? It does a small amount of damage. It isn’t hard to out prioritize it, heck you can air grab people out of the move with most characters. Sure it takes away someones power stone and put you in a better position to get it then your opponent but it really isn’t that bad.

Especially considering how easy it is to punish most character’s transformation in power stone 1.

shit ass broken game, anyone who remembers it fondly didn’t have it at their arcade. Repeat dive kick spam and negative tactics withe the power stone make it awful.

game wasnt broken, just couldnt block you can grab most dive kicks if timed…I hate talking about games that I cant play with SRK cats…

I own a copy of Power Stone 2. It’s scratched to shit and wouldn’t work, but I rubbing alcohol+Q-tip combo on my DC’s lense and it read the disc. I was happy as fuck, the two games are some of my favorite on DC. My bro has the PSP collection, I gotta borrow it sometime.

I found some people willing to play again me recently so I’ve been picking it up again. I still haven’t been able to get any videos of us playing but I am hoping to soon. I’ve had to rethink the game a lot recently because of the styles of play my opponents have brought to the table. I have had to reconsider characters I once thought would be the worst in the game as being better than some of the ones I thought were the best. The more I play and learn the more balanced and complex the game seems to be. Hopefully I’ll get some videos up not only of matches but some tutorials to tactics and characters.

To anyone in SoCal looking to play I would happily try to meet up for some matches.

I’m so glad I bought Power Stone Collection for my psp. Power Stone 2 on dreamcast was amazing. I used to play PS1 in a barbershop lol
