IMO this pretty much renders Nova/Spencer/Doom worthless. Now you can get the same ridiculous damage with two neutral assists!
Nah, the difference is you need meter for this. Nova/Doom/Spencer kills starting with 0 bars. Same with Nemo.

Idk if this is known tech but going back to that cent rush H tech that you can jump out of if they push block (the last hit has to miss) the move is also safe with rapid slash assist because rapid slash pushes them back before it hits. So you can pressure them and stay in and if they block you jump box dash to j.H and keep on. Novas best move just became completely safe

Rapid Slash tech is p.cool though! It’s safe with Cold Star as well but that requires you to be a lot closer.

Pretty much any order that isn’t Nova anchor is crazy good for Nova/Task/Vergil. Question is who do you feel the most comfortable with using the other characters’ assists?

didnt know where else to post this but seeing as how it uses quite a bit of all the nova tech ive learned…
personal team achievement - finally broke 2 million no x-factor!
wont bore with details but highlights include…
- 2 assists
- 2 wall bounces
- 2 TKs into special moves
- a non TAC infinite TAC nova combo
- one regular ground bounce (f.H)
- 4 TACs
- 3 special guest appearances by nemmy
- 40% red life used instead of 30% due to health regen during TACs
- 1 THC
- 6 meters used in total (2 at start)
So recently I’ve been practicing Nova/Vergil/Strange and honestly I think it’s pretty good. Lots of hard tag combos everywhere, I’ve actually figured out decent incoming with Bolts and Rapid Slash, and Strange with Rapid Slash is like… bah gawd. Full-screen blockstun instantly, completely destroys characters with low mobility.
Does anyone have any opinions on Zero / Nova?
It works. Zero can setup ez mode unblockables with Nova’s Cent Rush assist while also being able to use it to create some of his most damage extensions. Throw Doom in the back and you got a solid team.
I was trying to decide between Nova/spencer/Doom or Nova/Doom/strider and I watched the videos marvelo posted and also I saw insayne playing the other team and I dont know what to do! I like both teams but which one is the best?
Depends on your play style. If you want to play a more complete team for Nova at the expense of damage, but with a derp anchor, play team Marvelo. If you do not feel too confident in your Nova game to play an extensive neutral game, play team Coach Steve (Insaynne). OR rock both and just switch up depending on match up. TBH, it feels like that is the direction all players are going.
