You can also use the 0% version as a combo extension to get like 3/4 extra foot dives in. But its wasting red health is not good, and I don’t think it lasts long enough to warrant using it for zoning.
Well in regards to the red health issue just use your other assist until he recovers (I say this because I use strider) & Disco whats the extension? Could help me out.

Right at the beginning. Not sure if it’s practical damage-wise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba7Qt-zQ3es
you guys think nova/ wesker have any good synergy or should i avoid wesk ?
<div>i don’t think wesker really offers nova anything. the gunshot assist is pretty much useless aside from combo extension and (i guess) unblockables?</div><div><br></div><div>i just don’t see the point of having the two of them together when you could make better teams for both of those characters.</div>

If you want to play them together, it would probably be best to play Wesker/Nova/X. Last character should be someone that can benefit them both. Like Drones, Arrows, Daggers, Spitfire, Bolts, etc. <div><br></div><div>Wesker with Nova 2nd can go for infinites and his Nova Force during the team super does significant damage. Also, Nova is great at extending Wesker’s combos and Wesker can be raw tagged after any Nova airthrow. You can most definitely make it work, but it would be best to have Wesker first for the team.</div>
Sadly Nova can only use Gravimetric Blaster in THCs, so you have to spend red life, or get less damage than you would from Super Nova with the 0% version It’s like the game is working against Wesker/Nova sometimes hahaha.

<br>OMFG, that’s right! Why did I think it was Nova Force? That fucking blows…But whatever. You do optimized combos and you won’t need to Team Super. Unless you want to keep glasses on.
Well with Nova second, he most likely he won’t be having red life. Plus Gravimetric Blaster is the THC you want for Wesker/Nova. Grav Blaster keeps the guy down at the center of the screen where Wesker’s super does the most damage. <br><br>If Nova does have red life, it will mostly likely be from getting hit while Wesker is calling the assist. Which is okay. It shouldn’t be that much red life. That little red life will just make the THC even stronger. If Nova is missing a good chuck of red life, you can always adjust your combo so you DHC instead of THC. Or heck just TAC instead all together.<br><br><br>Wesker has 1 mil life. So playing him first you have a good chance that he will survive a hit and DHC out if your opponent is not doing optimal combos. That means you still might have access to air throw raw tag combos even though you are playing Nova second.<br><br>The pros of playing Nova second are TAC combos, Speed Tackle DHC, and good damaging DHCs. The cons are the assists he offers. However, centurion rush is pretty good for Wesker. He can easily setup unblockables with it and centurion rush is the perfect combo extension for Wesker because he can do everything but a ground bounce.<br><br><br>Wesker/Nova/X is not that bad of a team. I would say it would be the perfect team for someone starting out the game. Since both Wesker and Nova are very easy characters to pick up.<br>
Speaking of teams the game seems to work against sometimes, is there anything to be done with Nova/Magneto? More specifically Nova/Magneto/Doom? Or is it the same case as Wesker where the only way to make it work is with Mags in front?<br><br><blockquote class=“Quote”>

Mags doesn’t do much for Nova. So the only way to make it work is with Mags in Front. Possibly Nova 2nd. and Anchor someone who gives both of them a good assist.
Infrit was running Mags/Nova/Sentinel last night. It’s definitely not an optimal team but I’ve heard there’s some slimy incoming mixups with Cent Rush M and gravity. No idea what they are though! Sadly Disruptor is too fast and low on hit-stun to work for Nova who really needs a beam that can also lock down decently.<div><br></div><div>Speaking of beam assists, I tried Nova/MODOK for a spell to see if it’s worth playing for the hard tag synergy. God DAMN is Psionic Blaster a crappy beam. Confirming off the beam into a combo causes like -200k scaling from a regular BNB, yet it doesn’t provide that much hit-stun. wtf Capcom?</div>
Well the only Mags/Nova tech Ive seen recently is this, not sure if that was what you meant though?<br>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa5MsWe7X2k<br><br>But yeah, pretty much the only things Ive heard about a team with both of them would be with Mags on point, couldnt figure anything with Nova on point either, Nova/Mags/Doom may be ok, they both like missiles and all but eh, I like my Nova on point. :/<br>
That looks pretty good, repulsor in general is sick for setups like that.<div>The general consensus here is that missiles is alright for Nova but depriving him of plasma beam is a bad idea. It’s definitely one of the best horizontal assists for him. Mags/Doom and Nova/Doom are both great, but Mags/Nova is just okay at best. And there’s no character that really does what Magneto does on point; people talk about Doom being Mags with 100 pounds of armor on him, or Nova being Mags that goes horizontal and vertical instead of diagonal, and Storm being a bargain bin Mags. But they’re really not the same at all.</div>
Yeah, I hear you, I was just wondering if there might be some upside to running them together that I wasnt seeing or something.<br>Precisely because of their similarities they felt like a cool team to play, but yeah, couldnt think of any good reasons, at least not with Nova on point.<br>
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>So what’s the verdict on Nova/Doom/Sentinel? Running plasma with drones.</span></font><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Obviously Doom/Sent isn’t THAT hot of a pairing, and it definitely makes the team very front-loaded in my opinion, but You do get TACs, a horizontal assist, and drones. which is good I suppose. I feel like I probably answered my own question but that team was pretty fun when I messed around with it for a bit.</span></font></div>
very solid team
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>So, my Iron Man is ass but YO…Nova w/Unibeam…=)))))))))) I been running Nova Ironman (Unibeam) and Taskmaster (Diagonal Arrows)…been switching up the order of the last two just to see what I like more for anchor…but god damn I love that beam…I get 1-3 hi/lo mixups with 1 blocked beam O_o…I refuse to learn Doom (even though I might end up having to anyway =/). And diagonal arrows are so godlike because they do the same thing horizontal arrows do…but on people at regular jump height… “OH, you think up-backing will save you?! NA…hold this blockstun real quick while I get back in there”</span></font>
@-Limit- Great team, but in my opinion I’d switch the order to Nova/Sent/Doom. Sent/Doom is just a better shell than Doom/Sent and I don’t understand why more people don’t run it that way. Doom is better on his own, Sent is almost a viable character with assists, and the DHC synergy from Nova to Sent and Sent to Doom is better overall.<div><br></div><div>I know you’ll be running Plasma Beam, but Sent with Missiles is absurdly good. I just wanna plug that combo a little more.</div><div><br></div><div>@dougiie-OVRKLL lol I never realized how good Unibeam is until I tried it myself, it’s easily the best beam assist for most chars.</div><div><br></div><div>edit: guess you can’t tag people with hyphens in their name :/</div>
@disconvigilante: It’s an honest question, the main reason’s being doom with an assist >>>>>>> sentinel with an assist(and this is coming from the biggest sent fanboy), plus imo anchor sent >>>> anchor doom, sent can actually combo off happy birthdays while doom has to switch his combos, and doom lacks a good way to deter people from calling any assist not called vajra while HSF pretty much turns it into a 1v1 fight. They both share pretty much the same bad match-ups and do similar amounts of damage although doom builds more bar. <div><br></div><div>Overall I think doom/sent is a better order, although sent/doom is no slouch with plasma beam or hidden missiles tbh.</div><div><br></div><div>@-Limit-: Im trying to learn the same team so I definitely believe in it, nova gets two really strong horizontal assists or can switch doom to missiles depending on the match-up, gets a sick raw tag combo off his air throws and some pretty dirty incoming set-ups no matter which assist he has available. Only thing that kinda worries me is the damage output, I’ve been watching moons and dragonGod and they all seem to go for a lot of resets with nova or require a dhc to kill zero which is far from “grown man” damage so Im beginning to wonder if nova really does hurt.</div>
