Is VLC really that great? I use MPC cause it plays just about everything (even those obscure files)
VLC is nice because it’s super low profile. boots up fast, takes up like 4MB of ram, and it’s 100% skinnable and customizable… and all the codecs are built in, including real and quicktime.

i liked litestep for a really long time… but now that i’ve gotten so accustomed to windows again, i dislike it. it takes too long to customize enough that it’s usable. i don’t rmemeber the keyboard shortcuts that i used to use. now that i have a desktop again also, i’m used to using the mouse. litestep was really nice that i didn’t want to use the touchpad anymore. but yeah… i don’t like litestep anymore.
