How do you do the multiple desktop turn thing? I’ve always wanted to have a desktop like that…mind pointing me the right way? q:>
I want that pink haired girl background… please share
she’s fucking sexy. goddamn.
Yo Mixah, what program are you using? I’m using StyleXP but it’s limited as hell…links for desktop customizations please <3
litestep.
http://ls-universe.info/news.php
that’s the only customization program i’m using. everything else, i manually configre with reshack
google, “reshack”
Ah, ok.
Man, as much as i’d love to do all the customizing and everything, I seriously don’t have as much time as I did.
Your desktops look mad nice, though.
Are there any sites you could point me to that have those nice customized packages? Like Litestep packages cuz Litestep seems pretty easy to configure and is much more customizable.
I"m using one for xp but it’s only half as good as beryl haha.
yea i believe it was a photoshopbut the original is almost as sexy those blue eyes do it for me though
oh really? do share! im multibooting xp and ubuntu and my xp is barebones but i use it alot for word visio and other xp shit. and its default because windowsblinds makes my already slow computer
(p4 1.8, 512 ram NO FAN! absolutely none, my case is open and the whole room is hot as fuck when its on) run slower, and i’ve had too many problems with litestep/blackbox crashing randomly. so i just use the default shell and i like minimal skins.
heres my xp
Pretty nice, what distro are you using?
thanks mang
What’s that called?
Errr… litestep is a completely different interface. start menu and all that other mess go away. everything’s integrated. litestep is really hard as hell to get used to at first, on the configuration side of things, but it’s very straightforward. you definitely need somebody to teach you how to use it.
if you want a full out pack, there’s the crystalxp brico packs (google that), and things like flyakiteosx (google that as well). they’re full out packs that change your desktop interface, boot screens, everything, in accordance to a set theme.
Well, well, well, then…Mixah, I guess it’s your job to save the day…haha, just messing.
I’m actually trying it out right now. This interface is hella nice, though. I’m downloading other themes and just trying to imitate the configs on em.
valaris just had some major issues with litestep.
two themes to try…
obsidian with the dragon skin - most intuitive skin i’ve ever used
rhodium x - you can move EVERYTHING around.
God damn that looks nice. This kind of thing makes me realize that I need to switch back to Ubuntu again. I used it for a few months, but my school’s WPA network connection made it hell. Linux wasn’t supported, so every time the admins made a little change to the network, my connection went out and I had to speak a few hours tweaking shit to get it back. I never even used it long enough to try out different effects. Now that my university is officially supporting it, though… I may have to give Ubuntu another whirl.
I’m convinced it was because it’s a custom image of XP that I had so much problems.
Too bad though, looked like much fun to use.
 to that shit.
