Does anyone know how I can post my desktop? How to capture it? You’ll have to excuse me, I’ve never done this before & I’m a tad too lazy to search throughot the thread for hints.
To capture your desktop, just hit print screen, open bitmap, paste it on, and save it as a .jpg file. You can use websites such as Image Shack or Photo Bucket to host the picture.
EDIT: I just noticed you’re a premium member. You can just post it as an attatchment after you do the first step.

as you can probably tell, i hate icons
alll my programs, menus, and drives are available through right clicking the desktop, and quick shortcuts to primary programs (eg. ftp, firefox, notepad, etc) are available via middle clicking anywhere on the desktop
the winamp in teh top corner is part of the visual style, where it’s actually incorporated. the minimal taskbar is actually my modification of EcyStep.
for those of you who don’t know what litestep is, you should look into it and give it a try. it’s an alternative shell to windows, that allows full customability. it’s like running windows with a linux shell… it’s nice

Simple and organized caused I hate clutter. I have a Mac G4 laptop and my dock is hidden on the left hand side of the screen. It’s set to hide and show so you won’t be able to see my shortcuts in the pic. I just go there or click the folders to the right where I have everything.

i do have both on this system. windows is just easier in terms of doing shit with, because there’s actually a good amount of software that supports it… linux is nice, but it’s not used so much on this system…
i don’t post up my linux desktop because i use the basic one… i like the way it comes standard
