used for msn contacts that you mostly talk to. You can put them on the desktop, and forget about opening up the list. Trillian had it by group, but its msn support is weak.

k another question, whats with the icons at the bottom of the screen? I see the regular windows bar at the top, but Ive seen the bottom icons on quite a few different desktops, what are they for/from?
They are called ObjectDock. It mimics the dock bar on Mac’s OSX. It’s honestly pointless, as it’s no different than having shortcuts on your desktop. It just looks cooler because the icons magnify as you mouse over them. 
By the way, I don’t see how any of you can stand to have the start bar at the top of the screen. I like to be able to just move my mouse pointer all the way to the top right and click in order to close a window. No need to aim it. But if there is a bar up there, you’d have to actually aim to hit the X button. Too much effort. =p
