Is SP3 relatively safe? I didn’t want to upgrade thinking it was bad but if you guys recommend it, I’ll upgrade.

alright. i’ll try to upload one tonight… if anybody can provide webspace, i’ll email it you to. i don’t have any webspace right now.
as for SP3… all it is is a giant conglomoration of every update ever made. it’s not an OS rewrite like SP2 was. SP3 is nice though because rather than going into add/remove programs and seeing a MILLION updates, it says SP3… that’s all.
Also, what’s nice about it is that there’s a single update tool that’s included that lets you see exactly what every update does in normal everyday terms. it’s a neat little interface.
EVE is win. Most else on that desktop… not so win.
What are these 2 things you speak of? Are they both customizing tools? Ones that would
work with WinXP? It looks like most everyone here is running WinVista. I’m still on WinXP
SP2 (a very broken one at that—no original install discs to fix either).
I think until I finally get a computer that has more than 300MBs of RAM I could then finally
start really customizing…
