vega isnt even that hard to fight. sure he has good pokes but I am generally not too worried about vega. and he is always R1.
so blanka easy. he is a bitch in ALL groove. he builds meter like crazy. and CCs from RC electric anywhere on screen. blanka has broken priorities too…
Id say blanka is the second best character in the game. bison being the best cuz his CC owns cvs2 in general.
Vega is broke… That ninja can fight and character in the game period.
A safe playing vega is a force in CVS2.

vega’s fast jump goes over fireballs on reaction, wait for “psychic DP’s” and punish, and standing RH wins vs shoto jump ins. i still remember seeing ricky vs dan at an evo awhile ago and ricky fought the match to a near perfect against dan’s ryu. gross gross gross.

Vega is way too fast V.S. slow ass SAGAT. A Safe VEGA is really tough for a SAGAT user to fight. VEGA can just Zone,run away, and wiff punish.
Sagats just need one good Punch to end the match though…
VS Cammy AT least Sagat can random super/roll super vs VEGA.
VEGA has all the tools needed to keep CAMMY out. Vega’s Ground game is stronger than Cammy’s.
Obviously most of the people here have never played against a good Vega.

I think DAN’s Shotos could take on Ricky’s Vega. Ken or Ryu can do the job… you just have to have strong shoto’s.
I bitch about VEGA way too much. Who ever you play what ever character fight it dont matter… Just be to ready fight any Character and win.:rolleyes:

Any shoto can take Vega.
It’s just in this game, A-Vega is beefed up lots.
DP’ing a full meter’d A-Vega is almost as bad as DP’ing a character who’ll parry,
but the invincibility and two button activation > parry.
The RC rolls build meter crazy good when on block, but if he does it “random,” those can be evaded. If he has a habit canceling/linking those off a poke, he can be countered.
RC Hadokens are just about as “impossible” to react to when distanced properly, you can’t jump that. Unfortunately you have to be in Vega’s strong range, but if he’s abusing those strongs, you can sneak in that RC Hadoken.
Eh.
Experienced ST Shotos have it better vs Vega.

Vega… Blanka… at least we play them against them enough to be ready for them. I’m currently vexed at Rolento. I don’t play against enough Rolentos. He’s the “annoying style” character no one complains about.
Vega vs Shoto. The safe bet is on Vega (easy execution), but I say anyone confident enough with to play shoto in a tourney can make a match out of it. I think Sagat is the real Shoto nightmare. (Err, if that’s not clear… I think Sagat is the shoto’s worst matchup)
standing mp owns pretty much everything sagat can do.
but of course when sagat hits vega once, vega has a lot of catching up to do.
