Post pictures of your SF/entertainment setup!

Poor Time Out, it used to be so good. Ballston Mall’s Tilt makes me cry… the two main cabs are two 33" SVC CHAOS!!!

Gimme a PM and I’ll let you know when we do our little get togethers. Hell, one’s gonna start in 45 mins

There’s actually a good 5 SRK members who have been over here before, I just have no idea what their names are on the forum.

But seriously, Northern VA arcades are horrid. So I built my own. Bring friends, enjoy.

Aww, it’s the only one I can walk to. Just got MVC2 about a month ago, except when kids come, it’s the usual button killer. The buttons gotta get fixed every few hours. Only other fighting game is CVS1(not 2) and T5:DR. Overall, shit sucks, but awesome salvadorean competition. SRK en espanol.

Kros: I’d love to chill at the SF TO again, but the mall in general is kinda sparse these days thanks to the renovations and closings so I don’t really hang out there anymore. And like you said, sparse FG selection + hit and miss controls = iffiness.

ilazul: Sounds good - I’m gonna contact some of my friends and see when the group’s free, but I’ll definitely PM you on a weekend when we want to get our arcade on. :bgrin:

God, I remember when there were 2 Time Outs at SF Mall… and when you could drop by for random games in 3s, T5/DR, GGXX, SC2, SC3:AE, etc.

I’ve only stopped by the Ballston Tilt when I was in the area to get my car serviced… and yeah, their choice of FGs confuse me and the lack of maintenance is pretty sad. Last time, I played some SC2 with the 2p side joystick not working, and somehow managed to get a 6-win streak even though I couldn’t block lows or move.

I was only allowed to go almost as soon as I was ending high school…last year. Even then, took me awhile to find out that they use to have 3s at Springfield in the old bottom floor timeout. Was even more surprised to find out that people actually used to shop alot at springfield. I’m trying to get a job over at that time out. Been trying to petition them to get new fighting game machines (3s and CVS2 mainly, and joked around about getting SF4.). Overall, meh, at least its not landmark.

This is My New Gaming Set up in My Office/Game Room

It’s a 37 inch Vizio 1080p LCD HDTV. The Entertainment Center is From Z-Line and at a $100 it is a good Buy.
Here is a close up

My Arcade Sticks

My Small Office Setup

and yes that is a futon in there. Soon I’ll be adding a Vizio Soundbar to give the TV some More sound

How is the lag on that TV? I almost bought that same one about a week ago at Comp USA.

Love the setup.

ShadowYamato, why did you mount the router/switch on the wall like that? Wouldn’t it be better and less of an eyesore to have it on or under your desk somewhere?

Living room with a sectional and 46" Samsung, soon to be a 52" Bravia, and the 46" will go into the den.

Den with 32" Sharp. Pic of the shelves is my “gaming side” - on the other side of the sofa there’s the movies etc.

More at: http://picasaweb.google.com/immakulate/December2009#
Pardon the mess - the den is a “work in progress”

Then there’s the shop that we’re putting together:
55" LG 120hz etc etc

a view of one side of the shop during a test run - each station has 24" “EVO” Asus monitors.

Same testing night, running MW2 (on PS3) via LAN.

Note: the view from here will be replicated on the other side of the shop, basically. We’re aiming for 16-20 stations (24" LCD’s, PC’s, hdmi port available for BYOConsole etc) and 2 big screen tv’s.

edit: sorry for the long post!

Rampage: Good God! Really nice. Did you buy all those set ups or is it like a community thing? Working on something like that. For me and my peeps.
