^ input lag, due to post-processing by the HDTV.
most HDTV’s VGA ports will produce significantly less lag. all you need is a HDfury which converts the digital signal to analog.

i like the driving setup. very cool
He’s still right though, the Evo monitors were pretty much lagfree. At the worst, they had about 3/2ms of lag.
Doesn’t really show all that well, but it’s hanging about 50cm under the ceiling.
Not really optimal, but either that, or get rid of the ceiling fan.

This is where I sit when I play fighting games. Its about 5 or 6 feet from the tv. Sometimes I’ll move my ottoman over and put my stick on it and sit in my desk chair and play. Most of the time I just sit on the floor though.

Bad shot of the screen on my mitsubishi hc2000. This is a 82 inch screen, low lamp settings, color wheel slowed down and 720p. On the bottom left is a sideshot of my phillips 30 inch widescreen and flatscreen CRT HDTV for the lag free gaming

That sucks. Ive had the tv for 2 years and its still going strong. My warrenty is still good for 3 years so its ok. Ive had 3 other tv’s in the past years and they all went kapoot. They were DLP’s though. The Mitsubishi DLP I had had the dopest picture though. It was fuckin’ glorious. It was also the biggest tv I had at 57 inches. The lamp went out in that twice within 9 months, and that was the last dlp I purchased.
