Post pictures of your SF/entertainment setup!

How did you get that remote to work with the PS3?

He has an infrared sensor (I Think)

@Fluxcore… Wow impressive!

From top to bottom in the media rack:

Oppo dv980 DVD player
Wii/360
Fatty PS2/Audio Authority 1154a Component Video and Digital Audio Auto Switch (aka the best thing ever)
Shitty Sony A/V receiver (need to upgrade bad, but it serves its purpose for now)
APC Battery Backup and Power Conditioner

TV is an LG 30" Widescreen HD CRT
Surround Sound is all by Athena
Under the TV is my just built Boxee Media Center PC.

Hopefully I’ll get a nice new LCD or Plasma here in the next year, but then I’ll have to retire all Street Fighter to my OG 26" CRT in my room.

EDIT: Oh yeah, there is a Linksys WRT54GL with DD-WRT firmware installed behind the right speaker. It acts as a wireless bridge for the HTPC, 360, and PS2.

Nice CRT, dont sell that beauty!!

yup, nyko blue wave ir sensor.

You have specs for your HTPC? I’m still in the market for building one and I just want to see what you went with.

It was built mostly off of parts I had lying around.

Athlon X2 3400+
Asus A8N_SLI Delux
2GB DDR RAM
1 TB of hard drive space (2 500GB hard drives)
Cheap ass GeForce PCI Express card I had in a box somewhere

Updated Setup

Santa brought some x-mas presents for me.

A 104" Electrical Screen

And a Sanyo PLV-Z700 Projector, a very affordable Full HD projector.

I built a shelf and mounted the screen on the inside,
so it’s practically invisible when it’s rolled up.
The television is still up on the wall, the screen just goes down in front of it.

Still playing around with the settings on the z700, but I’m very impressed by the picture it can produce,
needless to say but blu-ray just looks awesome.

Only sad thing is that Santa billed me for everything :xeye:

Merry X-mas & a Happy New Year!

You, sir, are a pimp among men!

great upgrade to your already awesome setup.

BTW, did you ever finish that crazy joystick you worked on?

is it me, or is that entertainment center above to chuck your TV?

looks a little…unstable…

No it’s not you man. Your eyes are just fine. That shit is falling apart. I don’t even know how it is still standing. I’ll get me something better when a move in a few months. Hope it don’t fall apart before than.
Crushing all my shit. :shake:

What kind of electric screen is that, where did you get it, & how much that cost you…Im planning to get one this year…

is that a salamander designs stand? if so, how did you get the mirrored doors? i have never seen those on their website.

edit: wait a minute, just what is up with those doors? they look see through?!?

Haha, I have no idea who makes the TV stand. It was given to me by an old roommate who upgraded to a wall-mounted flat panel. The doors are just frosted glass.
