Yo Infested Jester! Good shit on the Tekken 3 Heihachi coin bank!
I thought I WAS THE ONLY ONE with one of those!
Good shit. I see you’re a big god of war fan…
Yeah, I got banks of Heihachi, Kazuya, and Nina also in bust form. I used to have a lot more Tekken shit out but I rotate every couple of months. Not sure if you know, but do you remember a magazine called Gamefan? They had a section in the back called “The Hardcore Gamer”, I made it in one issue with my Jin standee and Tekken keychains.
Yes I do remember and I have that issue, how funny, good shit.
Funny how a beer gut dude got a banging wife like that lol. Nice catch sir…
Hey you’re from digitpress huh? Damn, I need some T5 sticks, I wonder if gamestop still has some.
Jester, is that a BOGLIN i see in one of those pics???
Holy shit, if it is I haven’t seen one of those in YEARS!!! Bonus points for you man:rofl:
This is all I got really. I’m an emulation whore and I find little need to own the actual games since I rarely invite friends over to play games (Most of them “grew out of that”) so it’s just me and my online play. I’m far more fond collecting manga than video game stuff though, cuz it’s cheaper. I’ve sold off most of my console stuff already, save for PS2, DS, yadda yadda yadda.
I love the Neo-Stick 2, I think it’s one of my best video game related purchases I ever made since the GameCube. I got into getting statues too, those are always cool, and make for good drawing refrence material as well.
I seriously need to catch up my manga collection, there’s so much Rurouni Kenshin and Flame of Recca that I need to get up to date with.
Yes it is, and its also a rare mail away one.
everyone seems to have a nice setup to me… any setup is better then nothing.
megalo still wins though
Im on Digital Press too.
“Lord Contaminous” is what I’m known as over there.
I never though I’d actually get to say it, but this stuff is getting boring really fast…
Watching people’s stuff and how they’ve spent pretty much everything they’ve earned on tens of different systems because they have like 1/2 “awesome-for-a-month” game(s) on each system they really like is, I mean…
Playing 616 different games on 30 different systems is far from a hobby, to be honest.
Get a game, play it, get good at it - That’s a hobby.
Saying “playing games” is a hobby is about as far from sanity as saying “doing stuff” is…
You could also try to actually learn something productive, like programming or building stuff and maybe you can merge that with your gameplaying and make games or build arcade shit, maybe even making a computer…
I smell a hater
Are you fucking kidding me!? Seriously. I build arcade cabinets. I build arcade sticks. I participate in tourneys. I read and respond about what is going on with the gaming community. I’m also a Marine who finds creative ways in using the games I play to train my Marines. Strategy as an example. Playing Close Combat: First to Fight on the XBox about a Marine fireteam can teach a lot to my junior Marine when they get exposed to a similar scenario when they get deployed in Fallujah or any other ‘hot spot’ region filled with terrorist. RTS’s are another thing. My collection of games are of games I enjoy/have enjoyed playing. I usually find myself re-playing a lot of my games. It is what I love to do. Other people like to sew, cook, plant flowers, and arrange furniture for a living. So what is wrong with that? How can I compare it to people who play and build collections you may ask? How can’t you is the response I would give. I have not spent ‘nearly everything I’ve earned’ on my gaming collection. I don’t own an Xbox 360 yet, not own games that I have been waiting and wanting to buy for weeks, months, and years. I have an understanding for the word ‘budget’ and ‘priority’. Don’t come around here stating that this is getting ‘boring’ reading and looking at peoples setups and games they own. If you are bored then stop fucking this thread. Can it get any easier than that?! I sure hope not. Don’t worry about us ‘dedicated’ gamers and their ‘hobbies/obssession’ or whatever you want to call it. You don’t know anyone on here who has put up pictures to make a statement about doing something ‘constructive’. Some of those guys can possibily can be programmers and pc builders. Do you have a collection or setup you would like to display? If not, then stfu. Go find something else to do besides cry, bitch, and hate because you are ‘bored’ instead of posting in this thread when you could have been doing something ‘contructive’. Peace.
Oh yeah… I’m posting pics of my new setup. Not necessarily ‘new’ new, but have finally gotten rid of that damn packing box I was using as a TV stand, threw my surround amplifier and audio video stereo receiver underneath the existing TV cart that I now have, moved my next-gen games next to my speaker and added my SNES to my hookup.
Pic of the systems I currently have setup:
Later, I might post up pics of what I have currently stored in my garage.
EGM’s 200th Issue (Yeah, I went ahead and collected all four covers)
they all can be placed together to form a large collage. doesn’t matter which mag starts or ends, it just continues (360 degrees)
You obviously felt offended by my post and I’m having a hard time figuring out why, except the fact that I stated I thought none of you guys are doing anything creative (which kind of is confirmed by the immense amount of time you have to spend on all the systems and machines to be able to enjoy it…). If not that, you’re spending too little time doing creative stuff… But anyway, let’s leave that and adress another issue.
You say you’re a “dedicated” gamer. I say you shouldn’t be considered one in a time where competitive play in so many games has came very far and you really don’t have time to play more than 1 or maybe 2 games unless they are way too similar. Dedicated gamers train hard to become the best, they talk, walk and eat games, they don’t have time to sit and play Soul Calibur (which is one of the worst fighting games ever, I might add) and then change to something completely different the next hour.
You obviously have a distorted view of what dedication is…
Using the “You’re posting here so you’re not doing anything constructive” card is pretty good if you want to fail at getting a point through, by the way, I like it.
Wow, and I thought the 2k5 assholes were bad, scrub.
(Note that I will assume you are from the US or Canada, based on feeling… Or just the fact that your post was so retarded it makes you a strong candidate for living there…)
Is quoting and adressing specific parts too hard or is it the language you’re having problems with?
I like how you went from adressing the rest of the board to get some tag-team action to adressing me with the “scrub”-part…
Having problems with your native tongue, so much that you don’t dare even try to make a decent reply and the little you write is best compared to a 5 year old trying to cite olde english poetry, that’s just wrong…
