I’ve never seen this…BLACKLIGHT INK before. That’s pretty neat.
I don’t have any personal experience with blacklight ink, but I’ve heard it turns yellow with age? Not sure if you can get it on top of another color like black for an outline so you wouldn’t see the yellowing. shrug
The only place i want to get a tattoo is on the back of my leg…back of the shin to be exact. I know a few people that got it there and they say it’s one of the most painful tattoo’s they’ve ever gotten. Is this true?
I kinda want to get the pink panther, cause I fuckin love the pink panther. Also, my boyfriend is one of the best non pro bowler in the LA area…he has a tattoo ( on the back of his leg/ back of shin) of Mario with a bowling ball, which is f-ing awesome. I wanted to get Luigi with a bowling ball on mine as well, since bowling is my thing, and it would kinda match his. Even if shit doesn’t work out later on, I would still have the bowling tat, and not something like my ex girlfriend’s/ex boyfriend’s name that would be there forever. and be awkward later on. =\

My friend got one on the back of his leg (all around his leg actually) and he just said it hurt worse than his arm ones. Tat pain is a personal thing really. My mom got one on her foot and the tattooist said that’s a horrible place to get it and it barely bothered her. Just depends on how well you handle pain I suppose.
No actually the legs don’t hurt much at all. Of course everyone has different tolerance to pain. The most painful spots to get it on are the ribs, stomach biceps and chest.

Thinking about getting a tattoo before I go to Iraq. Won’t be working from May 10th-27th, so that would be a great time for tattoo maintenance.
It’s either gonna be something related to Texas or the Army. Gotta figure it out.

Just got my first today.
Ok, I’ve always been typically against tattoos (for the same tired reasons that most everyone gives), but I’ve recently been motivated to get one.
Firstly, I would like to get a design similar to one of these:
My main hangup (besides saving up the cash) is the potential pain involved. Can you guys tell me what I can expect? Does alcohol help? I’m not really interested in “beginner” tattoos. If I’m going to mark myself, it needs to have meaning. I’m still in the iffy stages so any advice is appreciated.
