Valaris is right most people don’t realize that paper and skin are diff. Some things will have to look diff no matter what. It also depends on the color of your skin and how well your body takes the ink. But of the most part u can do all sort of crazy stuff on it, it’s amazing!!!

Thats a funny story… When I when to tattoo shop, the lady looked at me and laughed when I told her I wanted a Green lantern symbol on my chest… She told me I was going to cry and that I wouldn’t be able to handle the pain, so I bet her that I wouldn’t cry and I would be just fine during the whole process. I won the bet and got the tat for 1/2 price…
yeah it hurt… but I think the one on my back hurt a little more… but that may have to do with it taking 2 hours and after he finished the first L, he decided to out line the rest of the letters first and then go back and shade them in. Prior to that, he was would outline then shade the letter and move on the the next. the last 45 minutes was nothing but shading and that shit starts to hurt after awhile…
I’m going to get a third one later on this year, but still haven’t decided on what it’s going to be. Right now I’m thinking about a koi fish on my arm…
oh man that sounds painful. Usually i won’t do last min changes unless they are absolutely necessary. The skin is to swollen up by then so I just leave it alone.

Epidemic, before you get any Kanji I HIGHLY suggest asking as many japanese people as possible to make sure it’s the right one. Too many people are walking around “Oh my tat? It’s Prosperity in japanese” No you dumb ho, that means “slut” in japanese.
It doesn’t mean ten (last I checked anyways, heh), that is how you say it. Like nin-TEN-do, TEN-chi Muyo, etc…
Literally it means “Sky” or “Heaven” but can be taken as “From Above” or “Beyond Human” I’m told. I heard something about it having to do with immortality too, but I’m not a Japanese expert so I dunno. I’m just content that I roughly know what it means and doesn’t say “Stupid American” or something.
and the akuma symbol translate to “not of this world”, or “demon”
like what he said except in an evil connotation. like we would say “thats a bad(awesome) man” or “thats a BAD(EVIL) man” except its the evil version.
edit : ugh better yet its like we would say “angel” and “arc-angel (devil)”, its a word with a negative context put on it, not just negative, but meaning “evil”
