Phlex, how much do your dogs weigh? We’re seriously considering Chows as soon as we get rid of a housemate. Any good sites in regards to maintenance, care, feeding, stuff to look out for, all that jazz?

The male (red) weighs about 65-70lbs and the girl (black) weighs about 55lbs. They are both physically a tiny bigger than all the other chows I’ve seen in person, and they’re not even that big. You can have a small chow that weighs 65lbs and a big chow that weighs 50lbs. It’s kind random, but between 45-70lbs I’d say is normal.
If you’re going to get a chow, or any dog for that matter, do not pick one from a pet shop. Try to get them from a reputable breeder, go and actually meet the mother chow, and father if possible, to get a good judge of character. If the breeders try to hide the dog from you or the dog shows any signs of aggression, stay away.:tdown:
