I stutter too, not normally but when the girl looks super good. They just increase eye contact intensity which only worsens it.
Well, i just stutter period.More with people that know me well, so i usually don’t have a problem with approaches so long as i don’t have to repeat myself, that’s when i get a block…
If you’re chat’n someone up and you feel a block coming just look away for a moment until you get through it and go back to making the eye contact.
But as i said, just let em know up front, takes allot of weight of your chest and makes you less worried about stuttering. Plus, when you do stutter they wont think you’re a complete bitch because you cant talk to them strait, instead they SHOULD respect you more for telling them one of your flaw’s up front.
Sure, you’ll still get the occasional giggle or smirk from people when it happens but, just smile and keep on going as if it doesn’t affect you, even though it may be kill’n you inside :bgrin: Fuck’n, they’re allot of famous actors that are chronic stutterers, imagine the stress they go through on camera… James Earl Jones’s is/was one of them.
