I’d like to see standing Fierce and Roundhouse get their damage buffed. Also, if they stick with making U2 a charge motion, then I say make Bison’s slide faster on start up, and make his head stomp better. If I get these three things, I won’t be so mad about U2.
Either way, I’m sticking with Dictator.
i dunno if anyone said anything about this, but i think chun li is in the next developer discussion. imo it seems that if they nerf her it seems a little more likely that they’d nerf bison, although you still can’t really say for sure.
i can live with u2 being nerfed to charge. im not sure what else they might nerf though, if they do. i wonder if balrog is any indication of what they might do with bison. wonder if they’ll add utility to another normal and nerf other stuff, making him play slightly differently?
Also, another change I was thinking of: make Bison’s crouching fierce faster on start up.
I’m going to adopt a wait and see attitude before I really say anything about U2 but normals with more priority would seem nice. Maybe less waiting after a teleport would help too or making scissors airborne. Oh and if they could make a winning quote that says “Of Course!” that would be great.
i hope the relatively light nerfs on chun is an omen on what they’d do with bison haha.
i didn’t like the nerf of df-lk, because that’s the only cool anti air she has, everything else is boooooooooooooring
D/F+short dominates Dictator’s jump-ins, so I’m all about this nerf!
I combed through the Chinatown Fair thread, and I’ve asked around, but I haven’t heard anything about Henry Cen importing the arcade edition yet. Anyone from NYC hear anything? I’ll go check it out whenever it’s available.

I don’t see him getting buffs. He doesn’t really need them. He has bad matchups… but, is any character supposed to have none?
I see getting some nerf around Reversals and Psycho Crossup
maybe he’ll fill less bar, or EX Psycho will be easier to punish… U2 will surely get more recovery
Nothing too great… Rog and Chun got some small changes. Maybe Bison will stay as he is…with these small adjustments
Mmm… I want some tweaks all around. He can stay the same as he is but I’d like a few small adjustments made around to give him a few more higher damage bnb’s.
I think I’m passed the anti-charge Ultra 2 phase now. It might be more feasible and better for Bison to have his charge to allow Ultra 2 also.
I think a lot of reason top players sometimes don’t even bother using Ultra 2 is because it’s a qcf,qcf motion.
To be honest, 50/50 wake up Ultra is too gimmicky and a lot of people that are decent already know how to beat it cleanly.
I’d rather have the option of Ultraing something during my charge and be able to rush forward or float around with DR/HS than try to buffer an ultra while the other guy knows I’m trying to do it—

Nerfing cross up crusher would be depressing. Move is barely worth the risk as it is. It only does 100 damage on a cross up. Needs to be change to match the damage of a non cross up pc. Pretty much every reversal beats it in terms of damage.
It’s quite the opposite. Cross PC is worth it. If done well, it’s safe and can even avoid reversals. almost Free damage, free chip
Well pretty much any reversal with invincibility stuffs it clean in my experience.
Any move with invincibility also stuffs his S.HK, S.MK, Scissors
yet, it won’t happen that easily
honestly i havent played around much with the crossup psycho crusher except after a slide knockdown or scissor kick knockdown, once in a blue moon to throw off the opponent (they won’t expect it so they won’t be ready to reversal).
but i wasn’t really aware there was a proper way to do it that causes reversals to whiff. depending on the matchup i fear horizontal move punish anyways so i seldom go for it if they have a way to punish it (like ryu’s super or cammy’s super)
anyways, how do you do a “proper” crusher cross up so that it’s safe? do it only off of close knockdowns (like slide) and psycho crusher crossup only when they don’t have above mentioned horizontal punishes?
There is a world of difference in timing between a standing opponent trying to react to pokes and scissors kick pressure than a meaty cross up Pyscho Crusher. The opponent has more time to judge the situation and input the command as a reversal.
If the opponent knows you like to use cross up pc he will have a reversal on stand by.

You could probably punish it with auto-correct ultras, but I’ve never seen anybody do it.
You aint gonna see much new. I do think that if they nerf his ultra, which it sounds like they’re doing, they’re gonna play with his hitboxes for a few moves, and probably put his cMK back to the vanilla days
as for PC, its fucking beast lol. Like Sabin (you mother fucking Sim) said, crossup PC, fake crossup PC, or accidental of either, can fuck up HUGE numbers of the cast. And it beats a lot of shit, and trades nicely with a fair bit too.
I hope they don’t save previewing his AE changes till last, like they do with costumes
