I’m not a big fan of competitive smash, but I do give the community major props on Project M that takes a game not meant for competitive play and honing it to that standard rather than playing through a laundry list of bans and setting adjustments to work. Is something of this nature possible with a game like UMvC3 that could desperately need an overhaul that Capcom wont give us? If so what are the avenues to search to promote the idea?
no, because it is much more difficult to mod and play games on a 360 than it is on a Wii. With Project M it is literally plug and play using a SD card that most computers can write to out of the box, just plug it into your Wii then bam. Off it goes. 360s you need to mess with the hardware so the logistics of actually running a fanmade rebalance are just too difficult
I imagine you would have to hack the entire source code then get it to run on PC,but that sounds like a lot of work and many laws to break to do that.
