Portland Tournament Interest

Yes. Definately yes.

Yes, absolutely.

In fact I want to see 2 portland ones and 2 seattle ones a year. 4 majors a year, one for each season!

Fall - Portland
Winter - Seattle
Spring - Portland
Summer - Seattle

It’s a conspiracy!

Er… Last year the Portland tournament was in the winter. I assume we’re planning for that again.

That’s a pretty bomb idea i think.

I definitely would like to start seeing kof98um show up as a main game.

Edit: we were also thinking sometime in october…

October 4th is the available date, and I put it on hold. October 25th is “reserved” for cleaning up from the event on the 24th, so we can wait till theyre finished cleaning up, or just do it ourselves.

So we can decide if the 4th is too early or not before I put in the room request.

I’m down.

Oct. 4th is cool for me

And I also!

I dont care if this is in, just don’t delete a main stay game for pretty much a Nitch game for it. Which is what it is right now.

I’m down.

Anytime in October is great for me. Whatever you guys decide, I will be there.

no of course not. If anything we would just run it instead of vf5 since we didnt’ have vf5 at the last random select, as well as the fact that it had the lowest turnout of any game pnwm. But in my mind

ST
Mvc2
CVS2
GGXX
T5:DR
Kof 98
LOL Forgot 3s sorry.

seems like a doable list. Vf5 could also work it would depend on if we could find enough xbox 360s as well as if people really want to actually play it, because judging by the turnout for the kof xi tourney at rs which wasn’t really planned, that seems way better.

VF5 probably isnt gonna do able for it b/c you didnt put 3rd strike in your list and we all know the hell that would be raised if 3rd strike wasnt in there.

Oh man good call. Stupid me. List edited. Thanks for the lookout!

Okay, requested the SMSU Ballroom and the extension for October 4th. Lets get the ball rolling on this…

Sweet. Just tell me if you need equipment/help with organization. I still think computerized brackets are better than paper.

There was exactly 1 snaffu with brackets last year. Which is definitely to much. I’d be willing to check your software out, if you can just send me the link.

If we could put the brackets on a projector screen that may be nice, but with two tourney’s at once we would need two computers, or to have a better managed main table where all wins and losses are reported to.

edit: forgot about tekken… but I think that one got resolved to everyone’s liking, unlike the ST event I am refering too.

Well, unfortunately their site appears to be down, but it’s called Tio. I could show you it at the next weekly, and it can run multiple events at once.

This program is really thorough… And very easy to setup brackets well ahead of time and then just add in more people as needed! I will talk to some other people about it. But I am all for it.
