I completely understand that. I’m going to give this game a chance like I did with UMvC3.

I like the shape, but looking at the actual cutouts for the buttons, wood terrifies me. I feel like my crazy button smacking and shit would shatter one of those sockets and that would be the end of the stick

Hey there, apologies for not finishing reading through this thread so far, but recently bit by the fighter bug again. Is there any active “scene” happening for people to meet up for fights going? 
(Reading through as much as I can, but at work… excited to have come across this thread.)

My shit is all set up, real internet gets installed tomorrow. The only problem I have right now with hosting a fight night is I DONT HAVE FURNITURE! I have no couch or anything for anyone to sit on lol. Still a new apartment so I only got my bedroom setup.

lol well in street fighter,…my akuma has been lacking. I use to think it was good back in the day, but I try to style on kids to much and it ends up costing me alot of matches. BUT my Akuma is marvel is top notch and probably my best character so feel free to take notes when we play, ill offer any advise i can.

I wanted to try old republic but i just cant leave my world,…of…warcraft!!! Goodgames the other night Tec, your better than you give your self credit. One thing I noticed is you definitely want to take full advantage of your air combos, to get the full meter building potential as possible. Like with Akuma, once hes been tagged in, during an aerial combo, if hes the 2nd person to tag in, do a air demon flip palm for the ground bounce, then relaunch and continue. Great damage, and good for meter building.

I think I’ve subconsciously told myself I refuse to actually practice and try to advance my game until I’ve got a real fight pad, as the xbox controller is garbage for fighters. I’ll be down for more sets of anything throughout this long weekend! Hope you all have a good holiday if I don’t see you on, though!
