Portable gaming question

Oh yeah and that’s another advantage of portability— the bathroom situation. It allows you to play video games while you’re on that throne droppin’ a deuce. Haha, you can’t do that with console games, unless you bring a tv, system and controller in there specifically for that purpose.

Now I feel like playing PSP again. It’s a shame that Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity never came to America though, and I didn’t really want to import it and have to track down the translation and all that. At least there’s PSO2 that will arrive to America …at some point …in the next 58 years.

That’s the other thing I do at work when things are super-slow. Good way to kill up to a half-hour. The funk caused by the morning dumps of the guys who eat only fried foods dies down around 9:00, but since most people assume it stays around all day, you can spend literal hours in the restroom with nobody thinking anyone’s in there.

I mostly play mine at home. If I leave the house I take one of my handhelds with me but I rarely get a chance to use it while out.

I like video games and I like having options.

When I get a good portable game I would take my DS or PSP everywhere. Outdoors I mostly play my portables in the subway or when I’m in a waiting room.

Sleep mode isn’t reliable when your battery is about to go and I sure as hell ain’t trusting it for a working day or longer when it didn’t start off fully charged.

There’s no fucking excuse to not be able to save and turn off anywhere, Fire Emblem had that shit down years ago and didn’t compromise challenge or anything with it.w

That will get you where you’re going so you can play and/or charge at home till you get to a save point. This has never been a problem for me, and more than likely the vast majority of mobile gamers. You’re doing something wrong.

I usually play my NDSXL on long road trips or flights. Otherwise, it just sits at home.
