Celebrate the release of Capcoms latest fighter this Saturday at Fusion LAN Center on the corner of Morningside and Port St. Lucie Blvd. Challenge new opponents in singles and team tournaments at a low-entry fee. Now is the time to build the Treasure Coast fighting game community!
TOURNAMENTS
-Both tournaments will be on Xbox 360
-Bring your own controller. We will only be able to offer standard Xbox 360 pads.
-Button mapping is only allowed at the beginning of the match. No do-overs due to button layout will be granted.
-Anyone caught using a turbo function on their controllers or any other form of cheating will be disqualified.
-If you pause the game in the middle of a round for any reason, you automatically forfeit the round.
Super Street Fighter 4 Two vs. Two Tournament - $5 per entrant
Tournament starts at 7 p.m.
- Default Settings: Three rounds per match, 99 seconds
- Match format: Team A Player 1 vs. Team B Player 1, Team A Player 2 vs. Team B Player 2, Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2 (if necessary)
- Single Elimination - if you lose once, it’s over.
- All characters allowed
- Teammates must use different characters
Super Street Fighter 4 Singles - $10
Tournament starts immediately after 2 vs. 2 tournament
- Default Settings: Three rounds per match, 99 second timer
- Best of Three matches, Grand Finals Best of Five matches
- Double Elimination - if you lose a set, you get sent down to the losers bracket. If you lose there, you’re out for good. Grand Finals is the top over the Winners Bracket verses the top of the Losers Bracket.
- All characters allowed
PRIZES
1st place - 45% of pot
2nd place - 15% of pot
3rd place 5% of pot
What does this mean? Suppose 10 people enter the tournament at $10 each. First place will win $45, second place will win $15, and third place will win $5. Team tournament winnings will be spilt between the teammates. The more people who enter, the money you can win!
SIDE GAMES
NOTICE: You must either enter the Super Street Fighter 4 singles tournament or pay Fusion LAN’s normal rate of $5 an hour to play the side games.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
- All characters are allowed, including Zero, Gold Lightan, and PTX-40a
- Set format: Best of 3 matches
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
- The players can decide the rules regarding characters, items, and stages. However, if people want to play without tournament rules, then let them play for a match or two.
- Set format: Best of 3 matches.
- Three Stocks, 8 minute timer
