I wont lie guys when Red saw his Mega Charizard X swiping at Mewtwo then went to a flashback of his Charmmander swiping in the same way I teared up a bit, really drives home that feeling you got when you played pokemon for the first time and watched your favorite pokemon grow up in front of your very eyes.

Aegislash sounds pretty epic. I have to say this gen is shaping up pretty well. Just can’t wait to see the extra content they add. Black and white was really refreshing compared to the gen 4 snooze fest. I can’t wait to see some more fire types.

Charizard vs. Magmar, charizard vs. Poliwrath, charizard vs. Blastoise, charizard vs. Blaziken, such godlike matches. The magmar battle was probably the most hyped.

I’m definitely getting this game, I support everything introduced so far… but I generally play on the DS games online for shits and giggles, I don’t bother with trying to get good IVs and EV grinding is super tedious…

The official site has updated and given details on how to receive event Pokémon. This process runs similar to previous games with you selecting Mystery Gift and then selecting the appropriate option. However, the details have provided a new method of obtaining event Pokémon. In addition to Local Wireless, Nintendo Network Download and InfraRed, the game also lists a new method of downloading: Serial Codes. Presumably this will run akin to the Serial Codes on the Global Link within Generation V. You can also have up to 24 Wonder Cards before having to make room for a new event.
Events are also locked to the console & game’s region, rather than the game’s language so if you’re playing a Japanese game in English, you will only receive Japanese events but Japanese games in English cannot receive North American events and vice versa. As a reminder, the Torchic event will be live online for all regions from October 12th to January 15th.
