If you mean in the wild… Idk yet, it’s possible. IIRC, none of the games had a roster of only their respective generation’s Pokemon in the wild. They all had some from previous ones, so I assume X/Y will be the same.

Welp, reviews for the games have came in.
Mostly 9/10 scores, but there was a 7.5/10 review that discussed some crucial points for me:
Small amount of new Pokemon
Small post game
Less areas to explore
Ouch. That sucks no matter how you look at it. With Gen 5 we had multiple graphic/ animation improvements, a great story playthrough, World Tournament, a ton of new Pokemon (mostly great ones with the exception of about 5 of them), a lot of areas to explore post game, Black City/ White Forest, the list goes on.
With Gen 6, it sounds like it’s just 3D, some new Pokemon, and 3D, and MegaPokemon (the biggest one), and 3D, some minigames for training, and 3D.
I’ll probably jump in when they make a third game and the Gen 3 remake, but now?
