Let me just set this straight, it is never guaranteed that you will get a hidden ability. It seriously is just luck, I just spent the last couple of hours at my college (waiting for a ride) and ran into both normal Dittos and Imposter Dittos.

Also, back online and list updated once again. The Co-Jones, whenever you are ready with the two pokemon, just let me know, I’ve got it all set. I’ll just be organizing the Dittos I got in the last couple hours.

I regret taking the time to make Eevee evolve into Sylveon. Did it with a crappy nature Eevee, and the thing can only learn fairy moves. Although I guess it’s cool because you can literally trade them away for any pokemon I feel like…

LOL I was filling out my Coastal Pokedex and fished up shiny Alomomola and shiny Corsola…

I also just found out that Sableye is in the Reflection Cave as a super-rare encounter… Damn.

You have NO IDEA how long I spent in that cave looking for that thing. I found one early on, killed it by accident, and then spent the next hour scouring the cave for a 2nd one. :confused:

Chain fishing(consecutively fishing up mons without missing a bite) greatly increases the chances of fishing up shinies that way.

But I do feel that the Shiny rate was decreased-- GTS is crawling with dem shits. Which suits me fine, because they make excellent trade bait… Traded my Shiny Staryu for a Modest Yveltal

Besides which, I’m too stubborn to resort to using the GTS. I never trade for Pokemon like that if I can catch it myself in-game; I only use the GTS for version exclusives. If there’s a hard route in a game, I will always take it…

You can find one in a trash can in the lost hotel on Tuesdays. Which just happens to be tomorrow.

If you fail to catch that one I can see about breeding you one, I’m busy at the moment though.

Yeah, I changed my clock to Tuesday and I’ve been looking in the trash cans for a while with no luck. x_x

I think the game detects if you change your clock like that and resets those events if you do so. That was the case in B/W 2 as well; if you tried to change your clock settings, the join avenue shops would make all their items sold out and services bought out for a couple of days.

You can change the clock settings for time of day for searching for specific Pokemon (or Mega Evolution Stones) but other events get reset I believe. I think Game Freak knew people would try to take advantage of people changing the clock like that and made sure you couldn’t truly abuse it.

As was mentioned, never change your clock, and save next to a trash bin. The contents change every time you load so you will get a Rotom, it’s just a matter of luck.
